The Basement Project is a registered charity providing a safe place for young people aged between 5 and 19 to go after school in Longbenton, North Tyneside. It provides a warm and comfortable environment where young people can have a healthy meal, make use of the computer suite for homework and projects, be cared for emotionally as well as have a safe place to play and socialise. There are also plans for holiday provision and a breakfast club.
