Well worth going to if u haven't been before. so easy to get into with my walker, we were seated and attended to very quickly as busy as it was. The meals were delicious, my husband and i always try a bit off each others the staff were very attentive and asked if there was a problem with the meals, we said the meals were wonderful ii was just something we did. Definitely no room for pudding they would have had to roll me out. Think i might start with a pudding next time they all sounded so yummy wish i had room left to have one

Well me and my partner have been coming here for years always on a evening! Never once can I say have we ever had a bad meal , the food is stunning! My partner and I decided yesterday to stop off for lunch on our way back from Darlington!!! Wow is all I can say!!! Food once again amazing , the belly pork was so tasty, staff as always so friendly and polite! I had to come home and sleep for an hour I was that full :) so not only will we be dining with you on a evening, you have now made lunch time diners out of us! Thank you for the amazing food as always, well worth the money x

We are regular visitors and have never been disappointed. If you are visiting for a first time please be prepared to wait as the food is cooked from scratch not microwaved like some restaurants. It is well worth the wait and the menu is incredible, something for everyone. We have always had good service from very professional and polite staff. Their Sunday carvery is second to none!...highly recommended.

My Family & I have been regulars at the bridge inn for years, however we haven't visited since the refurb - wow, very impressive!



The quality of the food was outstanding, as always, and the service is impeccable, you guys do such an amazing job, and thank you very much to the team in the kitchen for preparing our dishes.



We will definitely be returning in the near future, and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for freshly prepared, quality food.

We were a party of 14, for my uncles birthday, and we couldn't believe the choice. It was so busy! I had steak Diane and it just melt in the mouth! We all enjoyed our food and the staff were great, just went that extra mile!

Just got in from a fantastic night out at the bridge Inn was lovely I really enjoyed the sweet chilli beef sizz and had a lovely strawberry daiquiri the service was excellent everyone was so welcoming and helpful even with having 3 kids with me and my partner bring over toys to keep them entertained would highly recommend coming here for a meal look forward to my next visit

I was recommended by a friend to eat at the bridge inn . When I checked the menu,i could not believe how fantastic it was.every kind of food you could wish for.So I took my two children when we arrived the restaurant looked so beautiful,the staff were so friendly and welcoming.The ambiance inside was delightful.We ordered b our meals the presentation was fantastic you could tell the chef had pride in his work the food was cooked to perfection.I will now make this restaurant my local and always eat there when I'm home from sea .A big thank you to all at the bridge inn. I had my 21st birthday meal here last night and considering they had to cater for 27 people they did fantastic! There was a slight delay with sauces for steaks however this wasn't a huge issue and they kindly gave them us complimentary! The food was fantastic as usual, the staff were very friendly especially when offering a three your old colouring books, toys and gave him a football. The service was great! I can not fault the service from all of the staff tonight they done a fantastic job! Thankyou all very much! See you again soon.

I celebrated my 21st birthday here in January; my family and I had the room around the back all to ourselves - around 20 of us were there in total and the service was impeccable!

I ordered the exotic meat platter for two (because you're allowed to be greedy on your 21st birthday!) And it was truly amazing... made me a permanent fan of ostrich, kangaroo and crocodile :)



The staff behind the bar, the waiting staff and the staff in the kitchen all excelled at their jobs and made my birthday such a perfect day.

Had an absolute ball of a time having my dinner at the bridge inn on Tuesday night. The prime rib steak blew me away and I throughly enjoyed each and every bite, I enjoyed every minute of being at the bridge inn and would recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

Fantastic Sunday lunch yet again. Words can't describe how good this place really is. If you love eating food and enjoy a great atmosphere the Bridge Inn is the only place you should go.

Food is very good as usual, that I know, but this time was one of the longest waiting time I have ever experienced in the "bridge inn" the waiting time was far too long especially when with kids. For that reason I'm rating then ***. I hope they go back to the way they were. X

Two of my guests could not make it due to a family emergency and I was told by a rather aggressive waitress that I would lose ¬£10 of my desposit. I was disappointed with this as it was out of my control. However the waitress was rude and abrupt and stormed off after I told her I was disappointed, she had no customer service skills whatsoever! On a lighter note the food was amazing and hopefully I won't get that same waitress next time I visit. This is my favourite place to eat and I have never had a problem before, luckily it did not spoilt my birthday ÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹ

Went for a birthday meal. My friend and her sister wanted the desperate dan pie to share and were going to buy extra sides. They were told that this was not possible as it was not allowed. Well sorry but I do not see why itcwas not possible. Told the kitchen wont allow it. No what they wont allow is people ordering one meal instead of two bearing in mind there was 9 of us.

So my friend had the scampi on my recommendation as I had had this on a previous visit and it was lovely. Have to say not on this occasion I have had better scampi from the chip shop. The scampi was barely exsistant and some pieces of batter had NO SCAMPI at all.

We also waited a long time for our food starters and mains. Also drinks as well and the table had been booked. I will not go back very disappointed

Rude and unhelpful staff! Even the owner was very rude, we were seated for the carvery after a 45 minute wait (I didn't mind waiting that was no problem) then we got up to get our food and came back to a large group on our table. We told the waitress and they moved us to a small table near a draft on what seemed like patio furniture. We expressed that we were unhappy after our meal and the lady who apparently owns the place looked at us and said 'well what do you want then?' and tried to be patronising by telling us to complain on trip advisor and asked if we needed to know how to do it.

Really disappointed tonight for a birthday meal firstly we were seated near the door where it was cold and surrounded by a group of chatting staff so we moved then sat for an hour and forty mins before we got our main half of one meal was cold by the time the full meal got there the lobster and chicken very over cooked expect much better quality for £120 won't be rushing back !

It's been a couple of years since we last visited but will be much longer until we return, even the simplest of starters, garlic mushrooms wasn't cooked whereas the main courses, monkfish (so over cooked it would bounce) , to which the chef told me that is how monkfish is when wrapped in Parma ham, after shredding it in the kitchen and sending it back to the table and King Neptune where there was no way to distinguish which fish we were eating because it was all over cooked with the blandest cream sauce, all in all a really bad experience

Just left here, & wow was amazed! The decor is gorgeous, they even had the log fires on, so cozy!

We were a party of 14, for my uncles birthday, and we couldn't believe the choice. It was so busy! I had steak Diane and it just melt in the mouth! We all enjoyed our food and the staff were great, just went that extra mile!

Just got in from a fantastic night out at the bridge Inn was lovely I really enjoyed the sweet chilli beef sizz and had a lovely strawberry daiquiri the service was excellent everyone was so welcoming and helpful even with having 3 kids with me and my partner bring over toys to keep them entertained would highly recommend coming here for a meal look forward to my next visit

When I checked the menu,i could not believe how fantastic it was.every kind of food you could wish for.So I took my two children when we arrived the restaurant looked so beautiful,the staff were so friendly and welcoming.The ambiance inside was delightful.We ordered b our meals the presentation was fantastic you could tell the chef had pride in his work the food was cooked to perfection.I will now make this restaurant my local and always eat there when I'm home from sea .A big thank you to all at the bridge inn. I had my 21st birthday meal here last night and considering they had to cater for 27 people they did fantastic! There was a slight delay with sauces for steaks however this wasn't a huge issue and they kindly gave them us complimentary! The food was fantastic as usual, the staff were very friendly especially when offering a three your old colouring books, toys and gave him a football. The service was great! I can not fault the service from all of the staff tonight they done a fantastic job! Thankyou all very much! See you again soon.

I celebrated my 21st birthday here in January; my family and I had the room around the back all to ourselves - around 20 of us were there in total and the service was impeccable!

I ordered the exotic meat platter for two (because you're allowed to be greedy on your 21st birthday!) And it was truly amazing... made me a permanent fan of ostrich, kangaroo and crocodile :)



The staff behind the bar, the waiting staff and the staff in the kitchen all excelled at their jobs and made my birthday such a perfect day.

Had an absolute ball of a time having my dinner at the bridge inn on Tuesday night. The prime rib steak blew me away and I throughly enjoyed each and every bite, I enjoyed every minute of being at the bridge inn and would recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

Fantastic Sunday lunch yet again. Words can't describe how good this place really is. If you love eating food and enjoy a great atmosphere the Bridge Inn is the only place you should go.

Food is very good as usual, that I know, but this time was one of the longest waiting time I have ever experienced in the "bridge inn" the waiting time was far too long especially when with kids. For that reason I'm rating then ***. I hope they go back to the way they were. X

I am a regular customer at the restaurant and have never been disappointed with the service before. I booked a table for ten people for my 40th birthday, I paid a deposit for the table. Two of my guests could not make it due to a family emergency and I was told by a rather aggressive waitress that I would lose ¬£10 of my desposit. I was disappointed with this as it was out of my control. However the waitress was rude and abrupt and stormed off after I told her I was disappointed, she had no customer service skills whatsoever! On a lighter note the food was amazing and hopefully I won't get that same waitress next time I visit. This is my favourite place to eat and I have never had a problem before, luckily it did not spoilt my birthday ÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹ

Went for a birthday meal. My friend and her sister wanted the desperate dan pie to share and were going to buy extra sides. They were told that this was not possible as it was not allowed. Well sorry but I do not see why itcwas not possible. Told the kitchen wont allow it. No what they wont allow is people ordering one meal instead of two bearing in mind there was 9 of us.

So my friend had the scampi on my recommendation as I had had this on a previous visit and it was lovely. Have to say not on this occasion I have had better scampi from the chip shop. The scampi was barely exsistant and some pieces of batter had NO SCAMPI at all.

We also waited a long time for our food starters and mains. Also drinks as well and the table had been booked. I will not go back very disappointed

Rude and unhelpful staff! Even the owner was very rude, we were seated for the carvery after a 45 minute wait (I didn't mind waiting that was no problem) then we got up to get our food and came back to a large group on our table. We told the waitress and they moved us to a small table near a draft on what seemed like patio furniture. We expressed that we were unhappy after our meal and the lady who apparently owns the place looked at us and said 'well what do you want then?' and tried to be patronising by telling us to complain on trip advisor and asked if we needed to know how to do it.

Really disappointed tonight for a birthday meal firstly we were seated near the door where it was cold and surrounded by a group of chatting staff so we moved then sat for an hour and forty mins before we got our main half of one meal was cold by the time the full meal got there the lobster and chicken very over cooked expect much better quality for £120 won't be rushing back !

It's been a couple of years since we last visited but will be much longer until we return, even the simplest of starters, garlic mushrooms wasn't cooked whereas the main courses, monkfish (so over cooked it would bounce) , to which the chef told me that is how monkfish is when wrapped in Parma ham, after shredding it in the kitchen and sending it back to the table and King Neptune where there was no way to distinguish which fish we were eating because it was all over cooked with the blandest cream sauce, all in all a really bad experience

Well worth going to if u haven't been before. so easy to get into with my walker, we were seated and attended to very quickly as busy as it was. The meals were delicious, my husband and i always try a bit off each others the staff were very attentive and asked if there was a problem with the meals, we said the meals were wonderful ii was just something we did. Definitely no room for pudding they would have had to roll me out. Think i might start with a pudding next time they all sounded so yummy wish i had room left to have one

Well me and my partner have been coming here for years always on a evening! Never once can I say have we ever had a bad meal , the food is stunning! My partner and I decided yesterday to stop off for lunch on our way back from Darlington!!! Wow is all I can say!!! Food once again amazing , the belly pork was so tasty, staff as always so friendly and polite! I had to come home and sleep for an hour I was that full :) so not only will we be dining with you on a evening, you have now made lunch time diners out of us! Thank you for the amazing food as always, well worth the money x

We are regular visitors and have never been disappointed. If you are visiting for a first time please be prepared to wait as the food is cooked from scratch not microwaved like some restaurants. It is well worth the wait and the menu is incredible, something for everyone. We have always had good service from very professional and polite staff. Their Sunday carvery is second to none!...highly recommended.

My Family & I have been regulars at the bridge inn for years, however we haven't visited since the refurb - wow, very impressive!



The quality of the food was outstanding, as always, and the service is impeccable, you guys do such an amazing job, and thank you very much to the team in the kitchen for preparing our dishes.



We will definitely be returning in the near future, and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for freshly prepared, quality food.

Love this place, been coming here since I was young! Can remember the very first dish I had, which was Sirloin pizzaola! Came here tonight with friends, the place is still as gorgeous as was before, just feels like home! I had the Cornwall chicken & was lush! The wine selection is unbelievable, even spied a bottle of Cristal!
