Popped a blanket in the sun on the lawn this afternoon and had a very chilled afternoon with family, baby and doggo! Drinks lovely, didn’t try the food but will be back to try it.

Please do not shut it down its a community pub good food reasonably priced good choice of drinks

Lovely place to chill in the afternoon , value for money food excellent service

Just want to say a big thank you to everyone at The Carlton for all they did for us on our wedding day, the room looked fantastic all the little added extras on the tables were gorgeous, all our guests enjoyed the carvery lots of good comments from them, a special thank you goes to Amanda(dinky) for her time and effort she put in to make everything perfect. Lovely day and evening had by all.xx Mick and Angie.x

Been in to the Carlton tonite for tea. Was great service lovely lasagne and my girlfriend really enjoyed the fish and chips,

Bar staff are so friendly. Loved having our lunch outside while my grandson played in the little park. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Lovely food and generous portions. Cannot believe this place is due to close. So sad

Back to the Carlton for a mid week tea.



Tom played whilst we watched and waited for our food. The Carlton now serve Prosecco in 200ml bottles which is nice, shame they don't have champagne glasses but never the less it was lovely.



The burger I ordered was from the specials board and was amazing. A big tower of chicken, topped with chicken which could only be eaten by dissecting eating half and re- constructing.



Toms kids meal of sausages, waffles and spag hoops was nothing fussy but just what he wanted.



Pudding was a treat of ice cream and pecan choc cake, the choc cake could have done with being a little warmer but it was nice.



In all a great meal at a great price at a great venue.



We'll be back again soon.

Popped in for a quick one. Bar maid was pleasant and drinks were reasonably priced didn't try food as the kitchen was closed. Pub was quiet but it was early afternoon. Would like to give it another try.

Good food and drinks and a lovely big Tavern to visit

8 quid for a carvery... plenty of meat and veg on offer... Only downside I thought was no mash potatoes but had boiled and rosties

lovely food but made to feel unwelcome when I went with my friend and our children, it has put me off going again, especially as it was the manager who was rude to us.

Gammon was over cooked and small for price. Great service but food wasn't up to scratch for price.

Waited over an hour for food, service poor, very unhelpful, when asked how long reply was it was a big order (6 people and pub was empty)

Don't think much to the food if I'm honest. We had cheese burger with chips and onion rings were over cooked. And I woke up in night been sick.

our food was sent back the staff member looked at me said sorry about that and continued to count the money that was in the till. complained at bar to another member of staff whos reply was i dont do that ????

Went tonight n took kids for tea...never again, kids got pizza which I had to try after one of them said it tasted strange,I nearly broke my tooth it was that hard,the other wasn't any better and the burger was obviously microwaved just like the one's ya ma used to buy from the freezer shop,my wife got a large bowl of chips and tbf she enjoyed all five of them �...I did complain about the pizza and got another but I think they tried to compensate for the over cooking (microwave) by bringing back an under cooked one..unless your absolutely steaming avoid at all costs

Terrible service !!!! Refused 2 put ice in my drink whilst on the phone making a personal call. Will never go in there again. Used to go there at least once a week.
