Great pub .. ! Good beer, and none of yer bloody food wallers filling up the place with their knives and forks eating crappy pre-prepared shyte.. !!

Great little pub this with friendly staff and locals. Well stocked bar with a good range of drinks, lagers and real ale beers, Two cosy rooms very comfortable and a room extending from the bar where you will find a regular program of live music. I have done a lot of travelling around the world but always ensured my trips back home included a visit to The Causeway. This is the pub I use as a benchmark when going to new pubs and I must say most cannot live up to this measure..

Great entertainment love a Sunday tea time 5pm especially when you at work on a Monday

Great atmosphere, friendly, fun, good beer and fantastic music!

Friendly staff can always have a laugh with Sean and Thelma lovely pub beer is looked after taste beautiful. Live music they always have the wonderful singer on. Marc Atkinson so you got good staff good beer and great music.

Friendly bar staff cozy with a cool beer garden. Good draught cider

Fantastic evening as always in the Causeway last night. Such a friendly welcome from Thelma and Sean. Keep up the good work x

Best pub in Hartlepool by a long way. The small rooms to the left are both artistically decorated. The chandelier in the first one is a masterpiece. The staff are extremely friendly and the guest beers are top class.

Been drinking in here since 1985, a friendly pub with fantastic beer and live music
