We stayed at Hartlepool marina for 2 nights 14th and 15th August. And decided to eat at the conservatory. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing on both nights. I had mussels to start and a sea bream special and sirloin steak. And my fiancee had pate and house burger and chicken in white wine sauce. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to visiting again in future.

We had a beautiful Sunday lunch today. Although we didn’t book and were a large party of 8, the staff were very accommodating and moved tables around for us. The Sunday lunches were huge. Everyone who had them said the beef was beautiful. It was nice to have something different on the menu- I had the sea bass and it was lovely. Would definitely recommend. We will be back.

The food was lovely, took my mam asked if she could have a main meal but half on children's menu, yes that was ok. My mam really enjoyed. My lite bite was beautiful best prawns I've ever tasted , seated straight away and served straight away ....only fault I would say is service with a SMILE goes a long way

The food was delicious, The service was exceptional this is a place I would defiantly recommend thanks to Charles for your hospitality and Craig what a chef

South shields velo cc visited 9/7/17 3 riders arrived for coffee & breakfast no bike parking staff were obliging and helpful

We took a seat inside service was prompt

1 breakfast bun delicious no black pudding replaced with hash brown lovely

2 bacon sandwich perfect

3 poached egg on toast with side of beans

No beans arrived despite informing staff

Said they would take it off the bill but didnt

My wife and I had dinner and we found both the food and the service excellent. Our beef was cooked perfectly and staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Had lunch here with a friend today. It was lovely! I had the roast figs with crispy parma ham and goat's cheese to start and I can honestly say it was one of the best starters I've ever had. Delicious. This was followed by very well cooked sea bass which again was faultless. Washed down with a good bottle of red wine, all in all a great visit and I'll go back soon!

First visit to to conservatory, we had the lamb & scotch egg starters followed by hotshot parmo’s. The food was faultless served without delay attentive staff. Had to be the best parmo we have every had and we have had a few.. Will be back.

Both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and were very well look after by Charles. Food was amazing and cooked to perfection � Chef was very accommodating to dietary requirements. Thank you for a lovely night. Keep up the good work �

Been for the first time a fortnight ago,myself and my 14yr old daughter choose somewhere to eat once every 4wks,this time she chose here. Although I was poorly and would have quite happily stayed home I'm so glad I didn't,steak was beautiful with nails dessert and Kelsey's Parma was as she said the best she ever eaten. Definitely be going again soon. Also staff were very polite and attentive.

Spent mother’s day here the food was lovely and not too badly priced , my only complaint would be the servers looked like they didn’t want to be there (understandable it’s work! Lol) but a little smile or enthusiasm would of added to the atmosphere a bit more

Other than that thank you for a lovely mother’s day meal!

After a 45 minute wait we got our food. Apparently they had lost our order. Don't know how that happened as it wasn't mega busy. They were however full of apologies. We did enjoy food I have to say. Rhubarb gin with pure ginger and ginger beer was lush. I do think we could have been offered a drink on the house for our long wait.

Nice location and friendly staff but they need to sort out the extraction system as the restaurant has a constant aroma of stale chip fat.



Also the quality of food can be erratic. Steaks and burgers/paninis are good but avoid the seafood linguine - it bears no resemblance to any such dish I've ever had before!!

Nice food but had 5 things to choose from on the main menu which is ridiculous my sea bass was lovely but the vegetables were rock hard, will not be returning due to no choice on the menu

Me and my nana visited today for a sunday lunch.

Place looked lovely, stylish and clean.

As we sat down young chap offered us menu's. We were then left for some time when young lady approach asking if we have ordered yet. We placed our orders and were given our drinks.

When food arrived we found that vegetables weren't fresh - especially broccooli which looked yellow, also carrots were not washed well....

When we asked to pay our bill young gentlemen gave us card machine then turned around and started talking to another member of staff what i found a little unpolite.



Loud cluttering of plates and cutlery was excessive, I could hear kitchen staff shouting loud as there was some kind of dissagreement between staff ...

My fish was cooked well do 1 more star for that.

I stop here for tea and scone when cycling.

I like to be out pretty fast.

I order at the counter and pay, and advise I am cycling so can they serve me reasonably quickly.

It’s usually OK but on Sunday 21 May - 20 minutes for a cup of tea and 40 minutes for a scone, which never materialised - not good enough I’m afraid!

I asked for a Sunday lunch and checked it was served with mash potatoes. When it arrived it had no mash as they had run out but failed to ask if I would like anything different, so I got turnip and mashed carrots, then for my veg I got diced turnip and mashed turnip , sliced carrots , and 3 green beans . Also must of had a sale on turnips that week.! I won't be going again

Unfortunately, we had breakfast yesterday, we used to enjoy them very much but it’s now very poor quality of food .... service was not that great either. Also asked for a solid fried egg but came out almost uncooked... we did mention it to staff who just apologised but did not replace .... sausages very bad quality.... such a shame as we used to get a lovely breakfast from here .... advice, up the price and use better quality ingredients like they used to be .... would be a shame to loose this nice place

I think it's absolutely appalling the way the managers treat the staff. Complained to owner and had no response despite assurances that he would look into matter so obviously aware of issues but not willing to address same.
