So glad we discovered this place on a rainy Easter Saturday. Over 500 gins! Would have loved to sit there for a few weeks trying them all! The tapas was tasty; the service and staff were great; and the best selection of gins I have seen. If you love gin, this is the only place to go! Also there was a 'gins of the day" menu which we thought was good value, but all the gins were reasonably priced. If ever in Newcastle again I will definitely go back...for longer! Ideal location if you are waiting for a train as not very far from the main railway station.

Had a fantastic gin tasting at The Continental this weekend! We wanted to do something different for my boyfriends birthday and this was perfect. David was excellent, really knowledgable and friendly without being in your face. Even our friend who’s not a gin lover enjoyed it, huge thanks to David for a great afternoon!

Friendly staff who were conscientious and on the ball but not overbearing. Lovely atmosphere, beautiful wine (Merlot) and the added extra touch of tapas - although I couldn’t indulge because of my dietary requirements, my friend thought they were lovely! Would recommend and definitely revisit if working in the area again �

Called in on Sunday night, we had some lovely gin and tonics the girl on the bar was great very knowledgeable as there was so many to choose from we were spoilt for choice. The little tapas tasters were lovely, thank you I can't wait to come back
