Happy New Year! The Cornish Hen has been given plastic free status which we are very excited about, as indeed has the town of Penzance. We have also just been on Radio 4 talking about it. For those that would like a listen it was on World at One today, about 35 minutes and a bit in. Well done Penzance!

We had a delicious coffee's and cakes. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place was clean, full of atmosphere and lots of goodies to pursue over.
The best brownies ever. Bought down at the craft market im lemon quay, truro.
Thank you for the great service & help choosing Christmas presents. Everything from the chocolates to the liquor all went down famously!xx

Really lovely staff and the gluten, dairy free steak, potato and veg pie was delicious. First pie in over 4 years thank you. Really great place for coeliacs and food allergies/intolerances strongly recommend! Massive chunks of steak!

Top food, good coffee and friendly staff. Perfect.
Great food well worth a look in. I had a goats cheese and red onion marmalade sandwich made up fresh. And the lady serving it recommended eating it in the park which was great.
Good chunks of meat , good service , and dog friendly �
Friendly staff great food loved the cup and saucer clean premises would recommend this place to visit

As always the best pot of tea and fresh egg mayo sandwich in the whole of Cornwall , service with a smile as always , my fav place to lunch in Penzance 😊
Lovely cream tea, hoggaty pie, and pasty! Tasty, fresh, well presented and friendly service! All homemade and simply yummy. Only feedback would be price is a little high... but also quality is superb so understand price a little more than most places.
