We were there for a gig in aid of Musicians Against Homelessness. I was driving. I was driving I was drinking soda water and lime!!! However, the gig was great, & the staff very friendly. I have been there for a few beers before however, & I can highly recommend the pub!

User

This pub is a corner of heaven close enough to the quayside to justify the extra walk. Good range of beers, relaxing garden and great gigs. Add it to your list

User

This place is great and massively accommodating. We were filming in the North East and used it as a central location for our actors to stay. They all really enjoyed their stay and couldn't have asked for more. Plus it's part of the best pub in Newcastle and run by some fantastic people - what more can you ask for.

User

The gem of Newcastle. Great beer, reception, atmosphere, music.

User

Quaint. friendly, eclectic pub.

User

Probably the best pub in Newcastle. Fantastic beers and cider, personality, atmosphere, a great view, live music, fantastic events. Family friendly events. I can't wait for the restaurant and brewery plans to go ahead!

User

Nicest pub that I've visited for a while. Lovely owners, good atmosphere, cracking garden, wide drink range.

User

Most amazing talented place I have been in brilliant sociable fantastic music all free priceless xx

User

Haven't stayed there but amazin variety of beer(some brewed out back in the"lab" nearly always some kind of entertainment on: nice terrace & grassy bank for picnics n kids to play ; often a "food truck" outside for hot food

User

Haven't been there for B&B but it is a great place for a drink, really warm friendly atmosphere, often with music and the events upstairs are always good.

User

Great service, staff couldn't do enough for you, great for drinking around ousebourne and then a short walk to your bed.

User

Great place to stay. Lovely staff and fab breakfast

User

Great place to stay. In the Ouseburn area 5 mins from the Quayside area and 10 from the city centre. The rooms are big, well presented and all I think have en-suites. They are above a real ale pub which has a couple rooms inside and an outside seating area. Great selection of beers. BBQ going on outside when I was there which was excellent. Superb breakfast brought to your room, choose cooked or continental. Parking was fine, plenty of room.

User

Great little bar defo return in near feature

User

Full of character - this pub has three rooms - sells a vast range of proper beers and ciders - the owners have a micro brewery on site too. On some nights the right hand room is filled with customers who bring their own instruments to jam together. A wonderful sound. There is a third room up a staircase which is larger. I've seen a few bands here and enjoyed my nights there

User

Great place, great atmosphere, great ale, lovely clean rooms comfy stay

User

First Class accommodation with some nice little touches in the room, great nights sleep on a mattress and in bedding that would put some high end hotels to shame.

User

Always a great atmosphere, especially when there are events on. Great choice of ales, beers n ciders. A little small inside which is a problem when the weather ain't great (1st Friday on the terrace was freezing so didn't stay btw). One of my favourite pubs though, especially in summer, if it ever gets here. Oh and dog friendly so big paws up from Millie t dog.

User

I got aids off the bedsheets and off the knackers playing Neil fucking Young in the snug bar.
