A quick note to customers that Wednesday 11th July's Open Mic Night will not be on because of the football. But everyone will be singing Football's Coming Home in the pub anyway so you can still join in!

Best pub in Durham by a country mile, an urban kilometre and a nautical fathom...

Been going into this pub since it was called 'the Castles' in the 80's

Like the pub but service was very bad on this day staff didn't look to see who came to the bar first and the bar was not that busy
