What a fantastic rebranding and refurb of the pub. The new landlords are friendly, knowledgable and have put their own twist on what to expect in a British pub.

Went tonight for pies. Simple. Tasty. (Not simply a play of chips with some thick pastry). It was lovely. The kids decided to share a steak and Guinness pie and loved it. The fresh Game pie was beautifully rich and tasty.

Three real ales on offer tonight. Bombardier, Wainwright and Hobgoblin. All 3 were perfect and I’m a real ale geek. Lots of gins on offer too.

Love the model cow. Nice touch.

We went for sunday dinner last week with our two young kids and our kids we're so naughty it was embarrassing. The staff were amazing and made us feel so comfortable and told us not to worry about the noise which was amazing. Without a doubt the food was the best sunday dinner we have had. Portions are generous so i warn you to wear your baggy pants haha. Unfortunately we had no cash so although we paid the bill by card we were unable to leave a much deserved tip

We held Heidi’s christening at the Farmers Arms on Sunday and it was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. The buffet was plentiful and a wonderful selection of sweet and savoury and presented superbly.

The staff were attentive and friendly. A special thanks to Emma and Sophie for being so on the ball.

The refurb of the pub is excellent, so modern and quirky.

The rebrand from the plough to the Farmers Arms really makes our village pub a local to be proud of.

Thank you Iain and team for bringing our local back to life. Good luck with everything and I can’t wait to sample the full food menu.

Thanks again from the Barker’s

Been watching the refurb taking place with growing curiosity and was really pleased to see it had opened when I got back from holidays.

Popped along tonight with my mum and dad who hadn’t been in the building before and they loved the decor and layout - the shed was a great spot for a relaxed tea. We all had a bit of food envy when dad’s steak and Guinness pie arrived but I loved my burger.

Had a nosey at the back of the pub and never expected such a big room - looks great for functions as well as anyone popping in for food.

Looking forward to coming back again soon!
