Visited last night for Father's Day, great relaxed atmosphere and superb food! All staff were very friendly and attentive, especially as we had two dogs with us, thank you for bringing over a bowl of water and some treats for them- it's the little things! I had the grilled pork chop and everything was cooked to perfection. Thank you!

Very lovely food for a good price. Incredibly accommodating with food allergies. A chocolate birthday cake requested without egg and it was an excellent result, highly recommended for fellow allergy sufferers!

The service and food were excellent and the selection of Gins looked amazing. Would highly recommend the Rhubarb and Dry Ginger ��

Stunning bar, great staff with plenty of knowledge about all the produce (food and drink). Varied menu and really high quality food and service. Will be back when next in the area.

I love this place it’s one of my favourite restaurants. The service is always first class including Ryan behind the bar!

Food is always fantastic. The only thing I don’t like is the fancy bread as I can’t bite into the crust but that far from stops me going. Sunday lunches first class too.

Excellent food -fresh and flavoursome . Great atmosphere. Friendly , helpful staff. A rarity for many places these days . They try to accommodate all drink preferences with a range of non alcoholic beers, lagers and spirits , as well as a gluten free range . Small but tasty selection of vegetarian options and locally sourced bread that would be hard to beat . Prices £6-8 starter , £17 sharing platters, £13-16 mains , £6.50 desserts.

Been for fathers day lunch with the family today. Couldn't fault it, food tasted great, came really quickly. Staff were very good, particularly the bar mananger Ryan. Can't wait to go back.

Came for Sunday lunch today. It's served on a platter wth a variety of meat to help yourself which I liked, all of which were perfectly cooked. I think that mash should be included in the price however, instead you have to add it as a side dish. At £19 for 2 course that seemed a little tight. Veg was lovely however the gravy didn't blow me away.. just a little bland and underseasoned.



Service was good if a little robotic at times. The atmosphere and decor was lovely. Desserts were a little bland and incredibly small portions- which I didn't mind as I was full but those with a sweet tooth may be disappointed. There were quite a few flies around which were off putting though I know can't exactly be helped! Overall I'd definitely return.

Decor is spot on. Lovely surroundings and atmosphere to relax and enjoy a meal, but unfortunately we were extremely underwhelmed with the food. Very tastey bread but the fish and chips didn't meet the mark. Greasy batter with a small oil slick on the plate and the chips were so dry that it was too much effort eating them and so left half. Also the waitress forgot to return to us after we had asked for her to attend us. We really wanted to like it, but with high end prices it needs more attention to detail.
