We've eaten here several times now and the food has been consistently tasty pub grub. Today, a chicken dinner with veg, mash, roasties, parsnips and two Yorkshires and a prawn sarnie with a load of chips, side salad and coleslaw plus two pints only came to £21 - the portions were fantastic and the staff and regulars are always dead friendly. Awesome stuff - thank you!
Stayed here Saturday night - friendly pub staff great, breakfast lovely, warm comfy rooms - we will be back �� x
Staff very cheerful and friendly service and chatting about the latest news information about deals on drinks and snacks and food very helpful. ....food very nice and filling

Love this place haven’t stayed here or eaten here we are eating here Saturday the food looks great we came to Whitby last year and found this little diamond of a pub hotel eatery and just had to go back in this year great for just a drink if that’s all you want staff really friendly me and my husband go in every night we are here it’s just a great place.
Just popped in for a quick drink to celebrate my Dad’s birthday. Friendly, welcoming and a warm atmosphere. Just wish we had longer to spend here
Fantastic pub which is child & dog friendly & the food is lovely & great price. We return to this pub each time we come to Whitby. Defo worth a visit. Xx

Cracking little place , good beer nice food , great staff will stay again

Our 1st visit to Whitby and our first public house to visit very friendly staff indeed plus reasonable prices

Like it here nice staff always warm and most importantly it the last pub on our way to the Royal when we come to Whitby so yeahhhhhh one of our favourites xxx really dog friendly too as is most of Whitby Ace weekend AGAIN in beautiful Whitby!!!
Great food at a reasonable price. Good ales in comfortable surroundings. Also offering reasonably priced rooms in the centre of Whitby.
After a walk around Whitby we called in for Sunday lunch. We were not disappointed. All homemade and plenty to eat. Well worth the visit and will definitely be returning.
Lovely staff but Mark, we are the oldies you took the piss out of last night . Won't spent another penny in this in when you are there �
