lovely big comfy rooms food was lovely breakfast was really nice too. would definitely recommend it to people. Me and my family will definitely come back for a another stay.

We had a wonderful nights stay complete with full English. Room was gorgeous. Rustic style. Divine comfortable bed. Bathroom had great shower/bath. Cleanliness brill. Food very tasty. Staff very helpful and chatty. �

Lovely meal on a late Sunday afternoon. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. The manager even offered a waitress to entertain our baby so we could enjoy our food together. The Sunday roast was fresh and homely. Will definitely go back. Thank you to all the staff.

I would just like to thank everyone at the green man for a lovely evening we had last night for my mother in laws 80th birthday food was amazing the waitress and waiter were amazing and and very accommodating nothing was too much trouble we all really enjoyed ourselves will definitely be back thank you x

I went for lunch this week and I have to say what an amazing lunch deal menu. The food was exceptional the service was great . It was my first visit and I came back the next day as it was so good ! This place is definitely a hidden gem and I can’t wait to go again �

I booked out a room for my friends birthday dinner party on Saturday. All the staff where so friendly and so helpful. They helped me organise the room & the food was amazing. Everyone got what they ordered & no one said anything bad about the food. I will definitely be going back!

Had a lovely dinner yesterday! Thank you to all the team who made every effort to make my mums birthday special! They even gave us a brownie and sang happy birthday. Great job!!

Food is lovely! We went for mothers day with family under my and my partners reccomemdation and everyone was very impressed and happy! We will be returning with even more family on Saturday and I personally can not wait to dig into a lovely steak! ♡

Couldn't fault the food or service. The steak was superb - exceeded expectations on such a busy day

The staff were helpful and really friendly. The food was outstanding (and the chips were the best I have had anywhere for a long time!) Good food, fab staff and lovely place to visit. Nice children's play area outside too which my 2 year old loved! Highly recommend a trip to The Green Man. Thanks to all for a great experience 👍🏻🍽🥂

Booked in late to my room. Was able to get a hot meal and dessert. The staff were very friendly and the food amazing. I had a good pint of Courage and a lovely chat with the manager. The room was warm, clean and very comfortable .. overall one very happy lady and I will be back :-)

Lovely tasty food and lots of it. Friendly staff. Nice service. We stayed overnight. Lovely clean room. Tea and coffee in room. Modern bathroom, roll top bath and great shower. TV in bathroom! Lovely stay.

I came here today with my children for lunch and I have to say those chips Are the best chips ever. All the food was beautiful even just as a lunch ...... however there is only one thing that I really did not like and that was food served on a chopping board. This is a personal preference and now I know I will ask for it on a plate next time.

Also the children’s play area is gone 😥😥😥

Great choice of food, beautiful location and views. Staff where helpful and accommodating. Very reasonable priced.

Staff seemed to have lack of knowledge of spirits, when a amereto and coke and artchers and lemonade where ordered they advised they where out of those draft beers.



Some staff seemed scantily clad.

Quite disappointed with the food and turnover of our meal. We waited above what you would expect for a quiet evening. They over complicated the children’s menu, and therefore the children didn’t enjoy their meal. - overall a poor experience.

I've stayed here many times & always rated it well, however a lot of changes have been made to reduce costs.

I didn't have an evening meal in the bar as there was no real healthy options.

Breakfast is now a buffet type affair but without beans & the only egg available was fried. No options for meat free sausages. Annie was as lovely as usual but I don't think I will stay there again.

Disappointing - Been visiting for many years and never had a poor experience until this weekend.

The service was so slow, we was there for 3 hours eating just 2 courses and charged different prices each time we went to the bar.

I sent an email expressing my disappointment but never received a reply.
