Went on Thursday and had an amazing meal. Best calamari I’ve ever had and the red Thai prawn and monk fish curry was amazing. Staff were excellent.will come back again

We ordered the sharing seafood platter, and it was delicious! We live in Skipton, so it,s a long drive for us, but we will be returning to sample more delicious food

Was recommended from the night before about this public house was told very good food .So we had a sunday roast absolutely fantastic very well cooked well presented and very good service .I also might had a very warm welcome from the Landlord. Great beer selection and wine's spirits. Different choice of teas and coffees. Nice ambience Beer Garden 60 seater restaurant above the bar .A brilliant Sunday lunch in wonderful surroundings will definitely be back x

Warm welcome at the Hart. Great atmosphere, locals & holiday makers, musicians, families all enjoying the great hospitality. Hearty menu, loads of choice! Excellent service! Tasty food! So good we squeezed in a second meal there during our week in North York’s. We’ll be back next year 👍

Nipped in for a quick beer after walking from Whitby. Had 2. Food looked great though we didn't eat. Definitely going back for a pint and some fresh crab butties. Staff and locals all very friendly.

Lovely pub in Sandsend just outside Whitby very popular place. We chose small portions of Gammon and we got a large plate of food and it was excellent. We will definitely return. They also allow dogs in.

Lovely pub and good food, always visit when we are in the area. Fully recommend it!!

In a beautiful spot, a quaint old pub with great food n beer. Added bonus was the chickens n ducks in the back car park.

Beautiful little pub in a fantastic location.... with great food and drink.... often pop in here mid dog walk from Whitby.... experienced a great show of kindness tonight from the landlord, that was greatly appreciated by those who it was towards �.... add it all together and you've got every reason to visit this place

Always pop to the Hart when we’re staying in Sandsend. Really good food, a great pint and excellent staff. Too many dogs downstairs for my liking but I appreciate that there are a lot of dog walkers in the area and it’s just an issue for me (& my sister!). Lovely dining area upstairs anyway so everyone was happy. Great smoked haddock risotto for me, lovely fish cakes for hubby & brother. A decent burger and a nice veggie curry among other family choices. Good sized portions & reasonable prices make this a go-to location for us. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Had fish n chips, fish was plentyfull and really tasty, service n atmosphere of the place was great, the only reason I don't mark 5 out of 5 was the chips were out of a bag frozen,n not very nice,I would suggest they do home made chips in future.
