We were so pleased the Manager made room for us. Excellent food, fantastic service and you wouldn’t know they were doing us a favour by feeding a family of 4 after a busy day. We will be back on our next visit to Northumberland and we will be sure to book!

The food was absolutely beautiful, the staff were fab couldn’t have done enough for us. The staff were also brilliant with our two small sons and the children’s menu was fab. We will definitely return

Stop off on the way for a lazy weekend away, food fantastic friends had lemon 🍋 sole lush, roaststottie of the day mmm, and crab sandwich with harissa mayonnaise yum, was fantastic, visit here you will not be disappointed

Staff are amazing and so so friendly. Kirstie, Kate and the guys have looked after us brilliantly so far this week. Might need an excuse to come back.

Me and my hubby spent such a night here 14.4.18 and it was fabulous. From the minute we arrived we were taken care of and our room was just wonderful, pure bliss. The attention to detail this place provides is superb, from hand made chocs, complementary in room cocktails, and a tea & coffee tray that just about covers everything and the fab toiletries My only niggle was the temperature of the hot water but that was explained . The general manager, Callum couldn't do enough for us along with the rest if the staff. Food in the restaurant was lovely. The Joiners Arms ticks every box, and the owners and staff put the effort in, where , big corporate hotels fail. We will most definitely will return

Lovely food and portions big enough to make even myself struggle to finish. The fish and chips was superb and could not fault the food or the service.

Just got back from a fab three days staying here for my wife's 50th. Can't thank them all enough for really looking after us- the food was excellent and the service outstanding.

Just back from yet another excellent meal at the Joiners! We try to come every time we are in the area and love here. I have to mention Kate tonight as she was an amazing host with us and everyone around us her hospitality is first class and she’s a real asset to the JA!

Had a wonderful weekend away, the service we received from the minute we walked in until leaving was amazing! Totally surpassed our expectations. Thank you to Cameron and the other staff for taking the time to give us attention and make it a truly special experience. Having cocktails to make in our room was a great addition. There was nothing else you could have have done. Thank k you very much.

Fabulous!! My husband and I stayed over last weekend to celebrate our wedding Anniversary... It was just perfect!!

We were a little dubious about booking without visiting first but these doubts disappeared as soon as we stepped through the door. The Venue is beautiful, the staff absolutely lovely! From the food to the service it was all tremendous.

We loved the room.. complimentary cocktail making kits & the chocolates were a great touch.

If you’ve stayed/visited any of the other places from the chain - you’ll love the joiners. Seriously could not fault this place & we can be picky. We will definitely be back! Perfect!!!

Fabulous time. One of the best stays we have had for a long time. Blown away by the staff, the generosity, attention to detail and everyone being so friendly and helpful. Its hard these days to find a place where all the staff look happy and make you feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The room we stayed in, was perfect. Loved the antler chandelier and cocktail maker with ingredients and recipe to make an excellent cocktail. Attention to detail was brilliant. Cannot praise it enough. Even though we don't live far away it it felt a true break and special. Already told lots of people to go! Thank you for making our year!

Booked lunch here today.....what a gorgeous place....need to go back and stay over. The staff were so lovely and friendly and the fish and chips were gorgeous. Very dog friendly with a lovely atmosphere. Only a small car park but if you are visiting there us a car park just as you are approaching �

Beautiful location, lots of outside seating, fabulous interior decor, prompt & friendly service, excellent choice of food & all dishes myself and my company were served were 5 star. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic little hotel and gastro pub. The rooms are gorgeous, full of character and stocked with super extras like a delicious french martini cocktail kit. The staff we friendly and welcoming and the food (at both breakfast and dinner) was amazing!

AMAZING ! Just had a meal here and according to my husband it's the best burger he has ever had (pimp it up with the slice of beef and gravy) and I had the chicken which was also the best ever! The atmosphere is lovely and cosy with a slight modern feel. The staff are the best ! You can tell they really love their job and are passionate about the produce and pub. We have booked to go again tomorrow night. We just wish we weren't on holiday and that we could come here every week ���

Me and my partner stayed here 3-5-2018 as we were attending a wedding at nearby Newton Hall,we couldn't have been better looked after,from the time we arrived we were given the best service,they even provided us with a car and driver to go to Newton hall so we could leave our car at the joiners arms, fantastic friendly service,we will be back 😊

Had squid to start with. The harissa mayo had a lovely kick to it. Pork to follow, which was beautifully tender. Friendly staff, good beer. Would def go back when we're next in the area.
