The sort of pub you can go into by your self and get a warm welcome from Glenn and the staff.

It's probably the best pub in Shields.

What a great pub! Went for quiz night on Wednesday, we really enjoyed it, it had A lovely atmosphere. Going again on Wednesday but going a bit earlier to try to get a table. It got really busy. Great to see a busy local... it's getting rare!

Well I don't even know how to start this review, honestly one of the best places I've been in such a long time!! Brilliant atmosphere, amazing people and good price drinks. I mean come on what more could you want from a pub?!?!

Met so many amazing people and yes that includes wor little dale!! BEST BARMAN EVER�

Thursday night's are the best. You can't go wrong with £2.50 for double spirit and mixer ;)

This place is home away from home, wide selection of drinks at a fair price, and the staff are brilliant, dale and Emma really bring the best atmosphere to an evening

Love this place, staff are great, so friendly and the pub is so cozy, sofa’s, fire and cheap drink served by great people. Dogs are welcome as well feels like my second home not sure if that’s a good thing ���

Had my baby shower here a few weeks ago and what a lovely place it is. Everything was perfect, nice and clean and staff where amazing to me and all my guests. Would highly recommend this place for all functions. Also everyone said the drinks where great can't wait for a night out here in a few weeks to try them myself as i could only drink alcohol free that day � Thank you again!!

Fantastic little bar. Very welcoming staff, great selection of drinks and they put on some great events on during the the week like, quizzes and rock nights.

Dale is the best guy there.

Awesome night went to the Maltings for Christmas cocktails with the ladies. Bar staff were awesome. Drinks delivered to the table all night, fab atmosphere with the brass band playing Christmas songs.

Apart from the cosy, warm and ambient atmosphere, this has the best ladies’ room in the NE postcode area. Worth a visit just to experience this, never mind the well cared for beer and freshly made cocktails.

Amazing place!! After completing the GNR, despite not knowing us from Adam we received a hero's welcome and a free drink of our choice! The North East at it's finest.
