We were at the Old Mill for our Daughter in laws graduation lunch staff were brilliant the food was incredable. Thank you all for an excellant day
We went last night for our wedding anniversary and the food and service was excellent, would definitely recommend.
We went for the first time on Saturday and the atmosphere and food was fantastic mixed grill and lamb burger with goats cheese. The staff was really lovely and friendly and welcoming. Great experience for our first visit and will be coming back. Highly recommended
We had a lovely birthday meal today, my father had the chef’s special steak with scallops and my mother and I had the Greenland prawn Jacket Potato, service is excellent as always and we are never disappointed, the food gets better and better each time, thanks so much for a lovely day �
We go to The Old Mill most Fridays, not only is the food excellent, but the choice on the board is wide and varied for all tastes, but weekly specials are great addition, with some brilliant gems.
The facilities are good, tables compact but not too close, you have space.
But it's the people that set it apart. Very very recommended.
We follow a sugar free carb free diet and we love eating here as staff are always happy to help and substitute items ... food is fab and staff always friendly highly recommend
Was there yesterday, for my birthday. The meals were fantastic, the service was brilliant. Excellent place, and thank you to my partner for taking me.
Visited today omg beautiful meals huge menu, excellent staff and reasonable prices will definitely be visiting again
Sunday dinner is on absolute point! Great gin menu! 😮 110% be back! Can’t wait to try the food menu through the week!! xxxxx
Stayed here while visiting Durham for a few days. Great staff, food was excellent and good service and the room with clean. Yes I would stay there again if up North.
Possibly one of the nicest places for food in the area!xx

Lovely hotel, staff and great food and choice of beer...highly recommended 👍👌

Great menu choice, huge portions, good & courteous service & reasonably priced. Had a lovely family meal there for my birthday in January. Will definitely go again. Only slight downside, they don't take bookings for parties of under 10, so at busy times you might not get a table.

Lamb Sunday dinner for Diane and steak and kidney pudding for me, and cheeky desserts. Absolutely fantastic, as usual.
All booked for Christmas Day as well!
Just had a late lunch with my parents, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had what was supposed to be a light bite and I’m stuffed. Fantastic value for money. I will definitely be returning.
I live in South Shields and was there yesterday with my colleagues for our Christmas lunch. Couldn’t fault it. Lovely meal, excellent service and friendly staff. Private room was lovely. Hope they have it here next year.
Had a fantastic meal and time yesterday, for my Mum and Dads Golden Wedding Anniversary. Meal was lovely and staff were amazing, thank you so much for helping my parents to celebrate.
Great to visit after a long time, We don't know why we left it so long. The food was great quality and larger portions than many places now. The food tasted amazing and we felt it was well worth it x staff were really friendly and the service was very good too. I would recommend and instead of going to other places for convince and receiveing bog standard over priced small portions of food we will drive a little bit further!

Go here every time we’re up from Leeds to see my sister. Amazing food and staff are outstanding. HIGHLY recommended!

Can’t rate this place high enough!
From Hartlepool and drive through here at least once a month just because the food quality is always so high, cooked beautifully and staff are always so welcoming. So much so that my husband booked a surprise 30th birthday meal here (6/6/18) and I just want to say to the staff who were working how great they all were! Nothing was too much trouble - all food was served piping hot - even when. Some pre orders got changed!

Brilliant meal and very helpful staff
Booked in for an over night stay , comfortable room and food to die for. My main course of braised steak with a leek dumpling, mash and fresh vegetables was superb. After a good night's sleep I tucked into a hearty breakfast. Would definitely recommend anyone to try this venue, first rate.

2nd visit in less than a month with family. First time there were 17 of us & yesterday 6. On both occasions the food & service were excellent. Would definitely return.
1st time dining here tonight, food was lovely , kids portion huge lol . Lovely restaurant. Staff great � lovely evening. We be back .
