As part of our efforts to be more environmentally aware, last Friday we organised a beach clean with some of our pub managers at Whitley Bay Beach.
With the help of a local representative from Surfers Against Sewage we learned lots of great reasons for keeping our beaches and oceans clean, and helped to clear a good few bags of rubbish from the beach! Importantly, we learned that although the beach may appear to be clean on first glance, there is a great deal of small piec...es of waste which can be picked up before it enters the ecosystem.
We're excited to use our new found knowledge to further our efforts towards sustainability as a company 🌍🌿

Through our parent company, we're proud to be supporting the fundraising efforts of Jill and Richard Dixon in memory of their son, Glenn, who tragically took his own life in November of last year whilst awaiting treatment for depression.
