WOW, what a busy weekend we have this week, starting Fri evening with our Race Night, first race 8pm, and then we have 'Balls of Steel' playing on Saturday night
We have the fantastic group 'Inner Circle' at the pub tomorrow from 6pm, offering a selection of tarot and palm reading, all money raised is in Aid of the Alzheimer's society
They are back tonight 11 July for the first time since what was a fantastic valentines night....

We’ve been here a couple of times recently and the food is superb. We had the steak pie with homemade chips and veg and we also tried the mince and dumplings and the half Parmesan with chips. Bar staff are very helpful and friendly and we were extremely impressed by the fact that the chef came out to check with everyone that they were enjoying their meals. Called in Before 6pm tonight and got the offer of two meals for £10.00!! Excellent value.
Went for dinner today great value, food and service we had the two for £12 menu and left very full
We have had a couple of meals there recently, The Sunday Carvery is excellent.
Three times we have been for Sunday lunch, it’s like eating home cooked dinner without the cooking or cleaning up! Staff are lovely, the food is gorgeous and the chef varies meat and vegetables from week to week. Will be returning again soon.
The bar staff and the chefs are very friendly. I am a fussy eater and the chef couldn’t do enough to help me and I got things that weren’t even advertised in the menu. The food was gorgeous and I have been back more times since and I would recommend the food as it is gorgeous.

Me n my wife used to go for carvery all the time but when is shut we went else were well I'm glad it's back to the way it was food is superb and staff exelkent ☆☆☆☆☆ 5

Had a family meal here a week ago. Best pub meal I have had for a long time.
Really nice freshly cooked food at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend enough and intend to go back next time I'm in the area.

Called in for tea tonight and was surprised to find them cooking a BBQ feast. We had the steak and salad buffet and really enjoyed it. Great idea to take advantage of the good weather chef.
Booked for my grandmas 90th birthday, great venue and the bar staff were amazing thanks ladies......spoke to the manager at the end to say thanks we all had a great day x
