Looking for somewhere to take Mum & dad for Sunday dinner, so we thought we’d try the pier for the first time. We definitely wasn’t disappointed.. the food was beautiful, all fresh veg, mash, roasties, Yorkshire’s, meat.. generous portions, proper Home cooking. Absolutely stuffed really enjoyed it. Staff and atmosphere where great too. Would highly recommend x

Great service and delicious food, we had the oap’s haddock chips and peas, generous serving and cooked fresh to order. Highly recommend this great pub and the food served in it. Shall be returning to sample the Sunday roast 👍

Came here yesterday for a meal! Loved it quick service nice a hot! No issues and the beer is so cheap! £2.30 a pint! Honestly can’t fault the place and looks lovely as well! Definitely recommend! �

Called in today on my own for lunch and didn't feel strange walking into a pub on my own, I was made very welcome by not only staff but even by the regulars. Ordered cheese and onion pie, mash, mushy peas and gravy. It was cooked fresh to order. I was asked if I wanted vegetarian gravy or beef gravy which I thought was amazing. The food was delicious, real mash potato and home made pie. Little touches such as warm plates and the gravy served separately in it's own jug set it apart from other pubs. I think it's the cleanest pub I've ever been in, it's spotless. I certainly recommend it and I will be back to sample more of the extensive menu.
