Inchworm Diaries 21-07-19. Airstream rescue!
Well after several long weekends and over 150 hours of sanding and polishing the Airstream Trade Wind finally looks the part again.

We’re nearly there- just looking back at how it was in March. It’s a big change

At last. Finally got round to coating the Alpina !!!

Another E30 interior fully refurbished and ready to go. Repairs to the bolsters and thigh support have been made and the leather sympathetically refurbished to a high standard while retaining the patina of a 30 year old car.

Inchworm diaries 27-05-19. All polished up this lovely 1955 Silver Streak is ready to rock and roll ! It now has fully operational EU spec towing system with original Warner electric brakes and even the 1955 gas stove works !!

There is still a lot of work to be done but 30hrs in this Airstream Trade Wind is looking a deal better.

Inchworm Diaries 18-05-19. Time to address the front end cap damage. First prep done today. !

Inchworm diaries 11-05-19. Airstream “rescue”. Having been severely damaged by a contractor who obviously hadn’t a clue what they were doing we have been asked to restore this iconic Airstream Trade Wind which has been converted into a meeting room in a call centre. Work commenced this weekend. It’s going to take some time as we can only get access at weekends but a start has been made. This project is being carried out by Mike from The Polishing Company and Chris Goose from The Polishing Company East Anglia
