So tonight we genuinely had a petrified lady come out of the ladies toilets claiming to have seen an apparition walk behind her in the mirror. Customer thinking it is another punter, says hello. Only for the figure to disappear into thin air after walking past literally a couple of feet behind her. The lady is adamant she saw something and her expression was genuine terrified!

We came for MotherŌĆÖs Day tea 11/3/18, we pre booked and pre ordered our food as when we rung up we were told it would be busy, we went to the bar to order drinks and told it was table service so we went back to our table and within a few minutes a waiter was at our table to get our drinks order, although it was busy the waiter took his time and had a laugh with us which was lovely! Our food came with about 40minites which was fab and our food was lovely my Nanna had roast beef and she didnŌĆÖt even need to cut it as it was that tender! To say how busy it was I couldnŌĆÖt of thought better of all the staff and they didnŌĆÖt rush us to leave at all.

All in all we had a lovely night and both my mum and Nanna had a lovely MotherŌĆÖs Day so thank you team!

Was in for the Liverpool cup final, very busy, didn't have to wait long for food and when it came it was delicious, four empty plates and the staff are lovely, praise where praise is due, well done, definitely be back

Just been for a birthday tea. Not only was it cheap, the food was good. Particularly though was the loveliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, they seemed genuinely happy. One lady - I think she was called Mags - was so kind and thoughtful. She got everyone to sing Happy Birthday to my son and brought him a mini cake with candles. We chose the light bites menu and had the seafood and the chicken one and just tasty and well presented . The salmon was to die for as was all the food . Huge credit your staff are to the business and community and we shall return .

Came to watch England play with my son and I can not fault the customer service, they made both me and my son feel so welcome. We had a lovely meal and they even came over and painted my sons face with an England flag ’┐Į before he went to play in the wacky.... thanks guys.... will recommend to other people xx

Went to the station with my girlfriend had chicken and mushroom pie with mash well I think it was mash it was yellow and hard safe to say I didn't eat the mash pie was great then went back to the bar for desserts after waiting nearly 30 mins for 2 sundaes not happy with it at all I would have give them a 1 but the pie was nice

Disappointed. Good Friday 1pm Tried The Station for the first time after refurb. Ordered food at 13.23 arrived 14.17. Whilst it was nice tasting it was not hot. A jug of gravy that should be with a meal had to be asked for and it was stone cold. What was really annoying were the staff members on the restaurant floor who were hovering all the time and as soon as plate finished they took it whilst others still eating, leaning across. Whilst it is nice to have attentive staff this is not good practice.

Next issue was No hot drinks how can a pub in this day and age have no hot drinks. Had a machine but not working. it was not working 3 days ago. Table either side same issues with meals not hot. A total shambles staff not up to scratch and no apologies.

Would have given lower but as I said the food was tasty so prepared to try again.

Half the plate was filled with chopped lettuce, five chips and two very dry onion rings on the other! The chicken was lost on the plate as it was so small with no sauce on it what so ever! We were told that there was a 30 minute wait for food which was ok. 1 1/2 hours later we were still waiting. Our food came out bit by bit even though it was ordered together so some of the party hasnŌĆÖt got their food while others had finished eating. We were told there was only 2 members of staff in the kitchen because people had called in sick. The food was warm when it came not hot.

And we had coke to drink, when my husband said he didnŌĆÖt want ice we were told that not having ice means the glass isnŌĆÖt filled up, so had literally 3/4 of the glass. My husband asked if he could top it up to be told that would be charged as extra!!

The guy serving our food was lovely, he unfortunately bore the brunt of our frustration but was very polite and apologetic.



Overall, my mums birthday was a flop. They may have spent a lot of money refurbishing the place but that money would have been better spent on staff!!



WonŌĆÖt be coming back again, we will find somewhere else to eat.

The water, ice and lemon contained a wasp and after requesting a fresh one straight away, that one contained what looked like an ant in it.

I'd never return again.

We came to the station last night, we had to wait nearly an hour for our food, bearing in mind there were 3 kids with us so it was a very long wait. When the food came it was cold and my sons sausages were rock solid, he ate some mash and beans,. The waiting staff were great and the manager gave us a discount on the bill which was great. The problem seems to be the kitchen. My son has since been throwing up all night. We won't be returning anytime soon.

We came last bank holiday Monday, with a group of people we support, 3 wheelchairs, one which was able to sit on a chair independently, went in and asked if there was anywhere we could sit, ( place was verging empty), young lass said ermmm I donŌĆÖt know, found a table outside and went to order food and drinks, stood at bar, only person waiting, then barmaids friend came, walked past me to chat and serve friend, then another able person came in once again another bar member served her straight away, so I asked if I was invisible, she said ŌĆ£you ordering food!ŌĆØ I said yes her response ŌĆ£wrong till that one pointing to next till!ŌĆØ, so I asked if there was only one member who could take food orders and ignore customers her response ŌĆ£yeahŌĆØ.. then she said 40mins anyway for food , I looked around at the handful of people half of whom were already dining and said thanks but IŌĆÖll go where IŌĆÖm welcomed and went.. Funnily enough we only went a few pubs down to the Kings Arms where the hospitality and service were 5*.. Shame on you, you really need to train your staff in greeting, hospitality and manners!! Never would I come again or recommend this establishment to anyone, wheelchair users are not lepers nor invisible and also get embarrassed by being out in situations like this.. Very disappointed came in today for a birthday meal,first time since the refurbishment,we ordered 4 meals 2 arrived with a 10 minute wait for the other 2,the chicken from both hunters chicken were raw in the middle and obviously hadn't been probed and the Yorkshire pudding off the sausage and mash was still frozen,we got a refund and the member of staff Ross (best thing about the place) couldn't of been nicer about it but it has totally put me off and won't be returning.

Ordered a hunters chicken and the chicken was raw along with my friends chicken, my other friend got a sausage and mash with a Yorkshire pudding, the Yorkshire pudding was still frozen.

The only good thing that was nice about the place was their barman Ross, so kind and funny who went above and beyond to make up for the chef's terrible cooking. Ross was the only one who made any effort to take care of his customers and in my opinion the station should be very lucky to have him.

We had pre-booked 9 of us going for mothers day. 4 of the 9 were mothers very happy to be out for a family meal they would always want to remember..

-1 not enough seats at the table booked.



-2 had to arrange new table for our self's.



-3 no menus on the tables.



-4 not the right amount of knifes and forks.



-5 had to ask for our first drink



-6 menus not taken away when finished ordering.



-7 the time from ordering to food being on the table was nearly 2 hours.



-8 the food was cold on 8 plates of food.



-9 one meal was forgotten about. (one of our mothers)



-10 when that food came it was undercooked cold and inedible.



-11 after meal 3 plates were taken away with the question can you move all others to the end and I will come back for them.



-12 on not coming back for the plates and loitering with no job to do but avoid our plates the girl retreated back to the bar.



-13 cleared own table with out any kind of apology.



-14 was told we could all have free drinks, and the bill would be amended.



-15 drinks never came after waiting nearly 15 minutes.



-16 when going to make a complaint was told she was busy and would come to our table.

Also one of the front of house blamed the girl who took our order saying she missed the meal. This was not the case as she repeated our order back to us and all was correct. I therefore passing the blame to her, which is unprofessional.

We had a couple that had to get back to Bradford.



We had a 13 week old baby.



Also a mother on mothers day who did not eat.



Please please never enter this establishment. They do not apologise for any wrongs or take any steps to make you feel welcome after any slip ups.



I feel you all owe us 3 hours of our life's back not a free drink.

Disappointed. Good Friday 1pm Tried The Station for the first time after refurb. Ordered food at 13.23 arrived 14.17. Whilst it was nice tasting it was not hot. A jug of gravy that should be with a meal had to be asked for and it was stone cold. What was really annoying were the staff members on the restaurant floor who were hovering all the time and as soon as plate finished they took it whilst others still eating, leaning across. Whilst it is nice to have attentive staff this is not good practice.

Next issue was No hot drinks how can a pub in this day and age have no hot drinks. Had a machine but not working. it was not working 3 days ago. Table either side same issues with meals not hot. A total shambles staff not up to scratch and no apologies.

Would have given lower but as I said the food was tasty so prepared to try again.

Half the plate was filled with chopped lettuce, five chips and two very dry onion rings on the other! The chicken was lost on the plate as it was so small with no sauce on it what so ever! We were told that there was a 30 minute wait for food which was ok. 1 1/2 hours later we were still waiting. Our food came out bit by bit even though it was ordered together so some of the party hasnŌĆÖt got their food while others had finished eating. We were told there was only 2 members of staff in the kitchen because people had called in sick. The food was warm when it came not hot.

And we had coke to drink, when my husband said he didnŌĆÖt want ice we were told that not having ice means the glass isnŌĆÖt filled up, so had literally 3/4 of the glass. My husband asked if he could top it up to be told that would be charged as extra!!

The guy serving our food was lovely, he unfortunately bore the brunt of our frustration but was very polite and apologetic.



Overall, my mums birthday was a flop. They may have spent a lot of money refurbishing the place but that money would have been better spent on staff!!



WonŌĆÖt be coming back again, we will find somewhere else to eat.

The water, ice and lemon contained a wasp and after requesting a fresh one straight away, that one contained what looked like an ant in it.

I'd never return again.

Funnily enough we only went a few pubs down to the Kings Arms where the hospitality and service were 5*.. Shame on you, you really need to train your staff in greeting, hospitality and manners!! We came for MotherŌĆÖs Day tea 11/3/18, we pre booked and pre ordered our food as when we rung up we were told it would be busy, we went to the bar to order drinks and told it was table service so we went back to our table and within a few minutes a waiter was at our table to get our drinks order, although it was busy the waiter took his time and had a laugh with us which was lovely! Our food came with about 40minites which was fab and our food was lovely my Nanna had roast beef and she didnŌĆÖt even need to cut it as it was that tender! To say how busy it was I couldnŌĆÖt of thought better of all the staff and they didnŌĆÖt rush us to leave at all.

Just been for a birthday tea. Not only was it cheap, the food was good. Particularly though was the loveliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, they seemed genuinely happy. One lady - I think she was called Mags - was so kind and thoughtful. She got everyone to sing Happy Birthday to my son and brought him a mini cake with candles. WeŌĆÖll definitely be back, thank you so much ’┐Į

IŌĆÖve never been to Morecambe so we had a little mini road trip and came here for a bite to eat and a drink . The service from bar man and our table service with food was both A1 . We chose the light bites menu and had the seafood and the chicken one and just tasty and well presented . The salmon was to die for as was all the food . Huge credit your staff are to the business and community and we shall return .

Came to watch England play with my son and I can not fault the customer service, they made both me and my son feel so welcome. Never would I come again or recommend this establishment to anyone, wheelchair users are not lepers nor invisible and also get embarrassed by being out in situations like this.. Actually furious still about our treatment

Very disappointed came in today for a birthday meal,first time since the refurbishment,we ordered 4 meals 2 arrived with a 10 minute wait for the other 2,the chicken from both hunters chicken were raw in the middle and obviously hadn't been probed and the Yorkshire pudding off the sausage and mash was still frozen,we got a refund and the member of staff Ross (best thing about the place) couldn't of been nicer about it but it has totally put me off and won't be returning.

Ordered a hunters chicken and the chicken was raw along with my friends chicken, my other friend got a sausage and mash with a Yorkshire pudding, the Yorkshire pudding was still frozen.

The only good thing that was nice about the place was their barman Ross, so kind and funny who went above and beyond to make up for the chef's terrible cooking. Ross was the only one who made any effort to take care of his customers and in my opinion the station should be very lucky to have him.

Last week I gave here a 10/10



Turns out the management, front of house and kitchen staff can only deal with steady easy days.



We had pre-booked 9 of us going for mothers day. 4 of the 9 were mothers very happy to be out for a family meal they would always want to remember..



I am just going to have to do bullet points of problems here as it could be seen as a story that I could get published.



-1 not enough seats at the table booked.



-2 had to arrange new table for our self's.



-3 no menus on the tables.



-4 not the right amount of knifes and forks.



-5 had to ask for our first drink



-6 menus not taken away when finished ordering.



-7 the time from ordering to food being on the table was nearly 2 hours.



-8 the food was cold on 8 plates of food.



-9 one meal was forgotten about. (one of our mothers)



-10 when that food came it was undercooked cold and inedible.



-11 after meal 3 plates were taken away with the question can you move all others to the end and I will come back for them.



-12 on not coming back for the plates and loitering with no job to do but avoid our plates the girl retreated back to the bar.



-13 cleared own table with out any kind of apology.



-14 was told we could all have free drinks, and the bill would be amended.



-15 drinks never came after waiting nearly 15 minutes.



-16 when going to make a complaint was told she was busy and would come to our table.

1 meal a chicken dish was mentioned to come with sweet potato fries and came with normal fries.



Also one of the front of house blamed the girl who took our order saying she missed the meal. This was not the case as she repeated our order back to us and all was correct. I therefore passing the blame to her, which is unprofessional.



It was at this point we told them to stick it and we was paying for nothing.



We had a couple that had to get back to Bradford.



We had a 13 week old baby.



Also a mother on mothers day who did not eat.



Please please never enter this establishment. They do not apologise for any wrongs or take any steps to make you feel welcome after any slip ups.



I feel you all owe us 3 hours of our life's back not a free drink.

Just been for a bite to eat and a few drinks with my other half... Ordered food sat down, happy days... Then 40 mins later the food come, it wasnt our food... We were told ours was on its way, a family sat behind us came in after us ordered, ate and left before we got food... an hour later ours came... Wasnt great at all and half way through mine i bit into abit of meat to find 2 bits of hard plastic on it... sent it back got money back and left... there was 5 people in the whole pub 2 not eating when we got there and still waited an hour... Appauling service and to find plastic in food anywhere is awful... Be along time before i eat there again i think... Not even an offer of a free drink or anything

Can't possibly comment on the food cos we didn't get ours a 45 minutes wait turned into over an hour, but judging by the number of people complaining about theirs we might have had a lucky escape, the kitchen really needs some organisation and a few more staff out front wouldn't go amiss
