Would just like to say a big thank you to Lyndsey for letting me have my daughters baby shower at this amazing venue, nothing was a bother at all and to Stephen our bar attendant was lovely,, and also to Relish for the beautiful food �� xxx

Went in the Terrace last night what a nice change to go in a bar that caters for everyone inside lovely and cosy and the staff were really friendly and I went out on the terrace to find 2 television heat lamps and lovely cosy blankets when it gets a bit cold our new favourite bar

This is a class bar with great background music, comfort and a stunning outside seating area. It has officially made it onto our 'Monday Club' route and on this day of the week a nice pint of John Smiths is only £2.40. Probably the best pub in the town.

The function room is nicely done out , roomy and well worth the money

Staff were friendly and polite considering there were 20+ kids rampaging around for 2 hours

Such a lovely place to enjoy a relaxing cocktail ! Staff were so helpful and friendly. Couldn't do enough for us. Would recommend to anyone!

Loved this room didn't even know it was there ....was at a christening on Sunday.... loved the chairs and the idea you can go up stairs was a added bonus which is a very nice bar and terrace area

Had the most wonderful Beauty and the Beast inspired Mothers Day afternoon tea in the ground floor function room here this afternoon, with Make My Day Events pulling out all the stops as usual. Fabulous singing, and fabulous Cast members in beautiful costumes, doing what they do best.

The Terrace itself is the most gorgeous place, decorated in a divinely tasteful & decadent manner. Rich, warm colours, raw, bare brickwork, leather chesterfields, and immaculate furnishings all beautifully planned & thought out - with the added bonus of an outside sun terrace to die for.

Quite simply, surroundings that make you want to relax and stay a while.

For me - attention to detail like having a beautiful glass to drink from makes such a welcome difference. I could attempt to describe how my very first taste of their dangerously delicious rhubarb gin went - but I will leave you to discover that particular taste sensation for yourself!

You have been warned!!! Hic!!

Came here with a friend to Book sons 21st birthday Lyndsey and her staff are very professional curtious and very responsive to requests and questions regarding the room and great service and relaxed atmosphere upstairs definitely recommend

5 stars doesn't seem enough to give Lynsey and The Terrace! From our first enquiry about booking the function room for our mam's 80th birthday, through to the party yesterday, Lynsey couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Everything we wanted, she sorted, and she was on hand all afternoon, looking after everyone, and making sure everything ran smoothly. The staff were all pleasant and helpful, and one even dressed up as Elvis to dance with my mam's best friend from school, who was also 80 this week (she loved Elvis, and she was so thrilled!) The room is so beautifully decorated and furnished, and everyone commented on how lovely it all was. I really couldn't recommend The Terrace highly enough for a special occasion - everything was fabulous, and my mam had the perfect party she deserved. Thank you so much to you all.

We attended the George Michael tribute on the 10th March, we had a great night, very well organised, the food and bar staff were great the only negative point I would make is that not having been to an event in The Terrace we weren’t aware that you had to pay to reserve a table to place drinks on and no seating available which I didn’t mind but having to juggle drinks and wine bottles wasn’t great while watching the act, but had a great night and would recommend future events.

Great bar, if you can get a seat in the sunshine all the better. Great choice of beers.

Been a while since I was here but still really like the place. It's a good setting and the decor and furniture are great. Nice place for a good chat with your friends.

George Michael tribute was brilliant but had to wait a long time for him to come on.. two hours.. bubbly on arrival and nibbles were nice and much appreciated..but didn't like the idea of standing.. no seats.. then only on for one hour.. after all that standing and waiting.. difficult to see all of show properly.. because of crowd's and speaker's obstructing view's.. bit disappointed..�
