we visited today for the first time, and it certainly won't be the last. Wonderful food, brilliant service from Tiana, and a lovely atmosphere.

Visited two times so far and already contemplating what to try on the menu next.

Our first visit we had starters which was a big mistake because we did not expect the size of the mains to be so large. I'm so used to tiny Goblin pudding that when my plate sized steak and kidney pudding arrived I was surprised, but it was delicious. The only small thing in my mind from our last visit was that the chips were a bit too soft and tasted a lot of the oil they were cooked in, but that was a tiny blib among the rest of the lovely food.

Thought we'd try the full English breakfasts they're now serving each morning. I have to say it was delicious! Went to the Metro Centre straight after and didn't have anything else until 8 o'clock on the night. Worth every penny! X

Thanks to all your lovely staff for looking after myself and my family last night. My Auntie & her partner stayed over with yourselves after travelling from the Lakes. We came to celebrate what would have been my Dad’s 80th birthday had he still been with us, and you all made it really special, we loved the banter, the rum snatches and my Mam loved her HAGGIS!! � Thank to you all, we’ll be back....that’s if you’ll have us! � xx

Our regular lunch and tea haunt! We love it here, the food is gorgeous, the staff are lovely and the atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. Highly recommend!

Our family group have come from Australia to visit family in the area and found this gem of a place food excellent you won’t leave hungry and staff very friendly 🇦🇺

My husband and I walked in today for Sunday lunch. It was very busy and the owner asked if we would like to take a seat in the waiting area and get ourselves a drink while the found us a table. After 5 minutes we were taken to a table and we ordered our beef dinners which were the best Sunday dinners we have had in a long time compliments to the chef and a 100% to all the staff for customer service would recommend you to everyone thanks again guys we will be back

My Gran and I go to the Three Horse Shoes every Saturday and never look to go anywhere else. The menu is varied, food cooked to liking and everyone is extremely friendly and always make you feel welcome.

Can't recommend enough. (My Gran is 79 and difficult to impress yet she loves it and we still come back week after week)

Me and my partner came here on Sunday evening.



After leaving another local pub due to very poor customer service we both decided that we would come to your amazing pub



We have both ate here often together and with different parties and never ever been disappointed.



We both had starters I had the Stilton mushrooms and he had the black pudding both of which were cooked to perfection



Mains also didn’t disappoint I had the slow cooked lamb and my partner had the steak both of which just melted in our mouths



Staff were incredible and so polite we will be dining with you all again soon

I made a group booking for 14 people on 20th January. A big ask for a busy Saturday night. Our guests of honour were from America and I wanted a pub with good food and drink, character, history, good service and able to successfully deliver meals for a large group. Absolutely bowled over with everything, a perfect night, many thanks to all at the pub. Will go there again. My new favourite pub!

Had full English breakfast and it was beautiful Could not fault food or service will definitely be back again x

Food always excellent, service friendly and quick. There’s a wide choice from the menu, Greek lamb kleftiko, confit of duck, chicken with walnut and blue cheese salad, steaks, etc.

Can’t fault it at all!

First visit since the refurb and i was impressed no end. Service,friendliness and quality of food was exceptional. I went for the home made steak and kidney pudding. A generous portion perfectly cooked and stuffed with 1st rate steak and kidney. 5* from me.

Called in last night for our tea while out on our motorbike.. The Staff & Food were fabulous. All homemade food & top quality. Lovely little find & we will definitely be bck ���

Bit of a regular for breakfast and believe me it’s a breakfast fit for a king. Spot on well done to James, Shelby and all the team. Keep it up.



Called In this afternoon for a Sunday treat, and yet again very welcoming, very friendly staff, very attentive say you want meats well done and you get them well done (this is unusual - as most places don’t burn me mothers dinner quite as much as she likes it. Lol). Well priced, good drinks even though I was driving and could only have 1 �.



All in all if you haven’t been here yet, believe me you need to get there - you won’t regret it.

Absolutely fantastic as always went in straight away seated and greeted as always from James always makes us feel at home within five minutes our lovely roast was there to eat thanks again for a lovely meal can’t wait for Christmas Day booked already

We have also had a few evening meals excellent service is next to none we did have lunch the other day had scampi and chips I loved mine but my wife wasn't keen on the chips they were soggy and full of fat allIn all a great pub will still go again thank you

But the food well it was delicious the meat was cooked very well and just melted off the fork and all the veg beautifully cooked. Five star food and five star service with a lovely welcoming environment, my only con was the tables where very close together which I did not like but on a whole fab!!
