Our classes really encourage imaginative play through sensory experiences & adventures unique to Toddler Sense. Toddlers are taken on exciting adventures every week so there is always something new for them to explore.
Some of our themed weeks include: dino dig, party time, sports day, sparkles, circus, animal safari, castles & dragons, fireworks, trains, cheeky monkey, pet show - and soooo many more - two years worth of different themed weeks!

Within class we do a lot of role play. This term our toddlers have been working on the construction site and building houses, been to the shop to buy currant buns with their coins and had a teddies tea party and they have built a (pretend!) bonfire ­¤öź So much fun!
Toddlers love pretending to dust the houses with their magic dusters, wash the car with a sponge and some water, hang the washing and many other real life activities.
Imaginative play is so important for young children and it really is beautiful to watch.

The hysteria has set in - itŌĆÖs 8am and my girls are bouncing round the house on RodyŌĆÖs to Christmas tunes ­¤śé

Our 1pm classes on Mondays & Thursdays are perfect for siblings to do together. They are able to attend the same session as long as both are aged between 13 months and 4 years.
It is magical to watch them together and makes it easier to fit the activities into busy schedules.

Our classes are for toddlers from 13 months to 4 years and they focus on social, physical and emotional development, vital skills needed for nursery/school!
Unfortunately we know that children are not moving nearly as much as what they used to and this is having a knock on effect on fine and gross motor skills as well as regulating emotions, sitting still, listening...ŌĆ”. and ...so much more ­¤ś×
At Toddler Sense your toddlers move freely with running, jumping, balancing, climbing and all sorts of other movement as well as participate in sensory based activities full of imagination, bubbles, lights, puppets, stories, dancing, singing, instruments, messy play, and much more, filled with beautiful bonding moments for you and your toddler.

Hi folks you may have seen on the Baby Sensory South Tyneside & Sunderland North page that IŌĆÖve not been well and have had to cancel classes the last couple of days due to a stomach ulcer. IŌĆÖm still in pain but classes are going ahead today as my lovely class assistant Charlotte is making it easier by setting up for me so IŌĆÖm just coming in to run the classes. I may have to sit down and rest during the adventure play time though just in case you think IŌĆÖm being ignorant or lazy ­¤śé

Priority booking for our Winter term* opens this Sunday 5pm and booking for NEW customers opens Thursday 13 December 5pm. Pop it in your diary folks!
