... A couple of hours off exploring in Kenidjack Valley, on the doorstep of Trevaylor. Cape Cornwall, Choughs and bright yellow Lichen!

Thank you Steven Walsh and Steph for our terrifc Beach Buggy rides this morning! A real treat....I must remember to straighten my hair out again now!

User

Wow! Look at this... This morning one of our campers went down near Cape Cornwall to take some photographs of the scenery...turned around and this is what he saw - a little Roe Deer on the beach! Crazy wonderful sight. Thank you Kenneth Moon for sharing your photograph with us.

User

Hi everyone, due to an omission from the online booking system we have long availability in our lovely 'Kenidjack' holiday home through most of July and August!!! She is one of our 4 berth units - with a massive double bedroom and a compact twin bedroom. All fully equipped - all you need to do is rock up (with own bed linen and towels - or we offer a hire service for these items) - get booking - it is available to book online now as well! £565 per week

User

Here's a few random shots from out and about and on site lately - It's been a bit busy, hence lack of posts!

User

A pair of nature's little gems in one of our hedgerows this afternoon. Mum and newly fledged baby Sparrow. Simple pleasures.

User

Some random pics... A group of four 4x4 vehicles for 1 night last night + 1 other random 4x4 team of two turn up for 1 night - both unrelated. Sunset was amazingly colourful last night. Hay making going on on our summer paddock today. And it was a lovely day in Penzance on Saturday for Mazey Day (Golowan feastival) and although this pic of the Jubilee has nothing to do with the feastival I just happened to spend a few moments there and it reminded me of what a wonderfully special attraction the Lido is for Penzance. I suggested to the kids that we should make more of an effort to use the Jubilee pool through the summer rather than going to the indoor pool at the leisure centre! 😁

User

Happy summer everyone - yesterday I was wading in pea soup fog - today I am walking on sunshine! 🌞

User

...It has been an awesome couple of weeks here at Trevaylor and the hedgerows are full of foxgloves and pink campions and other wild flowers. The 'Shop' Field is full of campers. The beer is flowing well and scampi and chips is very popular in the bar at the moment! All is good, great and wonderful!

User

Beautiful sunsets lately here at Trevaylor. Although you have to make do with my phone shots as not had a chance to get out with my camera recently!

User

So, in spite of the dull weather it has clearly still been a fun packed spring break for some here at Trevaylor!

User

I love the diversity of everything and everyone that we encounter here at Trevaylor. Two of today's arrivals...happy days!

User

Trevaylor is ready for action! It is a really glorious sunny, almost breathless morning. The shorts are on! The gloves are off 😉 Wishing for it to stay this good for all of you to enjoy too! See you when you get here.

User

It's looking like it's going to be a little busy here this weekend...there's only 3 pitches left! So if you were planning on coming to see us too and you haven't booked yet - you'd better get booked double quick!

User

We explored some of the outskirts of Tehidy Country near Camborne on the weekend and this is one of the many delightful sights that we were able to take in. A field full of Dandelion clocks and buttercups. Nature's best.

User

Well what can we say? so pleased to have come across this lovely little campsite with excellent facilities and lovely owners Charlie and Michelle and staff esp Gary and Victoria who couldn't do enough to help us if needed. We stayed for 2 weeks in our caravan in the stunning location near the tin mines at Botallack and enjoyed making new friends whilst we stayed on the site. The small restaurant and bar is a great feature where you can enjoy delicious home cooked meals or enjoy a drink and meet everyone. Thank you so much... We really didn't want to leave.. We will definitely be returning. With Love from the Baker family. Mark, Michelle, Will and James. X

We stayed from 11/7/16 to 16/7/16 and could not have been more pleased with our choice of camp site our pitch was large enough for our 5 man XL tent clean and tidy the owners were fantastic helpful and very accommodating . The site is a 400 yard walk from the coastal path and some stunning views and tin mine ruins such as the amazing Crowns mine .

The idiotic St Ives is 11 miles away and worth the stunning costal drive.

Sennen cove is another great spot just 4 miles away I have never seen the sea so blue in the UK we will defiantly be returning to the camp site

User

We have stayed at this site in one of there caravans & we have also camp there over the past few years really great location & such really lovely people that run this site just returned from our two week break from 3rd Sept to 17th Sept 2016 we will be going back next year 2017.

User

We had an absolutely fantastic couple of days here! Charlie and Michelle were lovely hosts, very friendly and fabulous service. Perfect location for walking the South West Coastal path. Lovely food in the bar on the campsite. Michelle’s photos were also stunning and we bought a print, which we absolutely love.

Showers always hot, facilities always spotlessly clean. And great value for money.

Thanks for a perfect break away

User

We had a lovely stay at this campsite. Great location, clean facilities, good onsite shop and a bar / restaurant where we had a very yummy dinner one evening. Michelle and her husband were very happy to help.

We will definitely be back!

User

We are into the 3rd week of our stay at this beautiful site. Access to so many lovely walks.

Its very obvious charlie & michelle take pride in this gem of a site.

Will be so sorry to be leaving

Probably the nicest camp site owners i have come across.

User

This is a wonderful site in a beautiful location. We arrived late and received a warm welcome being shown to our pitch by the owner.

The site is tidy, clean and well kept. The facilities are spotless and work perfectly well.

The bar and restaurant have a great range and serve great quality food quickly with a smile. We ordered ten meals and they few out to our table freshly cooked and hot.

Will definitely be returning.

All in all I cannot fault this place it was great.

User

This is I'm my view the best Campsite in Cornwall if not England! Michelle and Charlie can not do enough for you. It's in a perfect place to visit all of west Cornwall. If you stay you must try the steaks in the dog friendly bar. They are just amazing! All in all this is a campsite you will return to year on year just like us!

User

The 2018 season has just begun and we have made our first (of many future) visits to the campsite bar and restaurant and as in 2017 have to say that the steak served there is still the best in West Penwith.

User

Super friendly and helpful and the bar has good food and beer, nothing like Cornish hospitality.

User

So peaceful, lovely spot , food excellent, staff excellent didn’t want to leave thank you

User

Preparing for our third visit to this wonderful site. We have stayed in both a static caravan and camped in our own tent. Such a lovely family site with excellent facilities. Highly recommended, intending to book again for future holidays :-):-)

User

One of the best campsites we have been in the last 20 Years! Great hosts Charlie & Michelle being friendly, helpfull and good humored. Also in rain...

After we left to visit Bude we felt like total fools that we left Trevaylor.

User

Nice small independent camp site in a great location for touring around Cornwall very clean with friendly staff and good pub grub in the bar will be going back next time we visit that area.

User

Lovely site. Warm & friendly welcome, nice sized pitches, easy 10 minute walk to coast/pub (you choose). All facilities, including a shop, bar and restaurant. Nicer class of person. Would love to come back in the winter for the coast walking. And before I forget, for photographers it’s a paradise. Easily and happily give Trevaylor top marks!

User

Just came home from a short stay at Trevaylor with my son, we loved it!

Arrived and was shown to our pitch, it was huge! We had the whole corner of the very bottom field and there was so much space! The owners Charlie and Michelle are lovely and nothing is too much trouble, I mistakenly bought an electric blow up bed and they plugged it in the shop for me and then took us back to the pitch on the buggy! They really go above and beyond what is expected.

We only stayed 2 nights but would definitely stay longer next time. All the facilities are great, little shop with everything you could need, toilets and showers are clean and tidy and plenty of them. The bar is cute and feels very homely and Cornish! We ate in there too and the food was delicious and service was quick!

Trevaylor is the perfect base for exploring too, we took the bus (literally right outside) down into lands end and it was lovely, took you through sennen cove on the way - beautiful.

The little park at the bottom of the field we were in was good, not huge but plenty big enough to keep kids busy.

Overall I would definitely recommend Trevaylor, the highlight being the owners - genuinely friendly and lovely! Thank you for a lovely visit! :)

User
