There aren’t many things I would change about my wedding. Well, there are three. 1. The groomsmen suits-we hired them from Moss Bros, everyone seemed to do that back then! All the men looked like the penguin from Batman! And there was some hullabaloo over Andy’s trousers so he ended up wearing the wrong size - far too long! In hindsight the Peaky Blinders look would’ve been much better on him. 2. My hair. The guy who was supposed to do my hair wasn’t available in the end and... I just accepted his stand in. And while my hair was ok it wasn’t really what I wanted. But I didn’t want to be a diva so just said it was fine. 3. And the biggest. I never really got “that“ dance with my Dad. Due to various events that occurred on the evening reception which I won’t go into details about, let’s just say things didn’t go to plan. So despite planning various funny songs for the DJ to play that remind me of my childhood, that smile Rachel has here in this gorgeous photo following a cracking dance with her Dad, that never happened. And then look at her mum and Bessies. All in tears - from laughter and love watching the two get down to Sweet Home Alabama. Rachel’s Dad has some moves!!! So girls. Make sure you get that dance. Or at least a special moment. Because he’s your Dad. Your first love. And for him, he’s just given away the most precious thing in the world ...his little girl. Xxx

Feedback like this makes me go fuzzy inside: So we got our pictures yesterday morning..... I had to wait ALL DAY until Al got home from the match in Manchester so we could look through them together and drink a bottle of wedding champagne. So the minute he got through the door I was dying to open them! We just can’t thank you enough they are absolutely out of this world amazing,Claire. We both agree that you were the best decision we made when it came to planning our wedding.... I have no idea how you managed to get every guest in at least one picture but you did! It was like there was to of you... never mind being pregnant and on your feet all day?! I can’t even pick a favourite there is so so many special moments that you captured and we couldn’t have asked for more. It was like reliving it all over again last night and I cried more looking through them than I probably did on the day! The video is amazing and the editing is crazy good! You’ve got such an eye and a talent for this you were obviously born to do it. I could go on and on but I’m going to go and show my mam who is bursting to see them too. If either of us marry again you’re our girl 😉.... or perhaps when we make our family bigger. That might be a more appropriate thing to say (although Al likes the idea of doing a home shoot with the dog) We’d like to leave you a testimonial and gush about how much of a babe you are- is your Facebook the best place for that? I can't believe I haven't blogged about this BigDay sooner. The lush, yet pretty wet, wedding of the very lovely Faye and Jonny. The ceremony took place at the beautifully quirky Weddings at The Garden Station with the evening reception at The Grand Hotel in Tynemouth. Whilst it literally POURED down during the ceremony, I actually I think this added to the day - it was a gorgeous ceremony and the sun then magically made an appearance just in time for some beach portraits. I‚Äôd love to know how many of you use the laundry basket as baby transportation around the house too! Don‚Äôt worry it‚Äôs a good one, not Tesco Blue Stripe. She won‚Äôt fall through halfway down the stairs! Also. How crazy is family laundry. I can't believe another year has flown by. And what a year! I thought, after a pretty momentous year both for Unscripted and personally, it would be nice to take stock and put together a few of my favourite images from the last 12 months. I know I've missed loads, but it's a nod in the right direction! And I have to also thank all those amazing couples, families and small businesses that have trusted me to capture their lives. I’m pretty rubbish at Self Portraits. I’ll admit it! as I find it really hard to stage moments instead of capturing them organically. But I'm trying to get in the frame more often. Here's a great example of why I find family portraits a little bit difficult. I get very little support or patience from the others. Bribery is mostly required. And here . . . Hubby getting annoyed with our little man for pulling funny faces instead of helping Mummy get the shot so he doesn'...t need to sit there infront of the camera - Andy’s the first to admit he’s rather uncomfortable having his pic taken. Yesterday this little cheeky monkey turned 5. I don’t know where that time has gone. But I can’t imagine a world where this little tinker didn’t exist. Thank you for making everyday that little bit brighter Harry and I love seeing the world through your eyes. Love you little Harry

A lot of wedding photographers don't actually enjoy staying for the reception. Not me! Give me a room (or tipi) full of alcohol fuelled people, some awesome tunes, immense dance moves and hopefully some wicked lighting and I am in my element. We looked for a photographer who would offer something different to the standard bump to baby photo shoot in a studio, and that's exactly what we got with Claire! Our photos tell a story...not only that the shoots were relaxed and comfortable without any awkward posing! I knew from our first email that we would get along; Claire is so friendly and is clearly passionate about her work. Thank you Claire, for the memories.

The photos Claire captured of me and my daughter were amazing- I sat and cried at the video of the photos! I just want to buy every one of them! She's captured me in a way I didn't realise anyone could see- not even myself. Love love love!

I love Claire's work. She's done a couple of sessions for us to date and given us some fantastic photos of our little boy that we'll treasure always. What's great about Claire is that as well as being talented in this style of documentary photography, she is a lovely person. She doesn't judge and clearly loves what she does and that's exactly the type of person you want to allow into your life and capture those special but personal family moments.

I had the pleasure of working with Claire last month on some blog photos, and I loved how they turned out! Despite not being a fashion photographer, Claire took some stunning photos which work perfectly for my blog, the ability to turn her hand to a new type of photography just shows how talented she is. Claire is also really lovely and I felt completely at ease with her. It was honestly one of my favourite shoots I've ever done!

Claire- wow, where do I start. I met Claire a few years ago when she brought her gorgeous little boy Harry to our dancing babies class. I started following her photography journey then. My sister had a mummy and me session which was just incredible and I knew then that she was my wedding photographer (before I was even engaged!!). No second choices- no back ups- didn’t look at anyone else- it was always Claire. I was thrilled when she was available for our date and she has been so so helpful, friendly and professional from the get go.



On our big day, Claire was like one of our nearest and dearest sharing our day as a guest would. She joined in the laughter, the dancing and all in between (minus the tequila- I think?!).



We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our BigDay photography package and our alternative wedding video. The sneak peak was a TOTAL tease!

I hate having my photo taken however the results are just beautiful...I have 'real' moments recorded in print forever. Not just posed moments but beautiful small details I could never capture myself. Claire has an incredible eye for the perfect picture. Every time we have booked Claire for a shoot we have felt comfortable which has resulted in some really personal and intimate pictures.
