Ustinov Global Citizenship Programme - Durham University
About Ustinov Global Citizenship Programme - Durham University
An international postgraduate community hosting open events, forums, and volunteering opportunities to encourage dialogue across cultures and disciplines.
Ustinov Global Citizenship Programme - Durham University Description
The Ustinov Global Citizenship Programme (GCP) is a unique forum at Ustinov College, Durham University’s sole postgraduate-only college, in which postgraduate students can engage in dialogue and debate across different cultures and disciplines. The GCP’s primary aim is to provide a forum for scientific, political, and cultural questions. The programme of events is devised, organised, and hosted by college scholars and student volunteers, all postgraduate students at Durham University in a wide variety of programmes and disciplines.
Events are open to all – students, staff, and both visitors to and residents of Durham – and take place at Fisher House, Ustinov College (and occasionally elsewhere at Ustinov College). Through our regular programme of interesting and engaging events, the Global Citizenship Programme hopes to bring together various communities within Durham and encourage conversation, debate, and friendship.
