Van Mildert Charity Fashion Show Description
The Charity Fashion Show is one of the largest charity events in the College’s calendar. Held in March and attended by over 500 members of Van Mildert College and wider member of the university community, the show is organised and executed by a full student committee.
The Charity Fashion Show brings the college community together like no other event, due to the high number of students and staff involved. Not only is it attended by a large majority of the college community, but the Executive Committee, all models, dancers, perfomers, sound and lighting technicians are also students of Van Mildert College.
Van Mildert College prides itself on having one of the best Fashion Shows at Durham University. We strive for very high standard in the quality of our the show, whereas no auditions are held for modeling because we believe everyone should be able to be a part of the event, all other performers, such as dancers, musicians, singers are auditioned. Furthermore, we benefit from the full support from the college staff, which enables the event to run smoothly and without risks.
Last year's fashion show was a big success and we are looking forward to making the 2018 show even better.
