All new Vauxhall now run on the newer gds2 diagnostics system. From around 2014 they started phasing out tech 2 and or tho it's perfect for older generation of Vauxhall, we are getting more and more vauxhall that need gds 2 system for fault finding. So have decided to take the plunge and go fully online with the latest software, as this is online it will always be updated with the latest software for your car.

Couple from this week Vxr burg in for full topend rebuild new stem seals, ports dechoked, valves lapped, full gasket kit and new belts. Zafira gsi in for bottom end rebuild including vxr pistons and new steering rack fitted.

Astra vxr in for a custom remap now pulling around 300bhp. This cars fitted with the 630 cc injectors and k06 turbo but the stock actuator was holding it back
Also sorted a few faults out while working on this including airbag and ids lights, hunting on idle.

Vauxhall insignia in for body control module replacement.
Stripped the old unit down to find one if the chips had blown.
Not a problem as we can clone these units and make them plug and play

Astra 1.6 xep in for diagnostics and repair, first scanned with tech 2 to see where the problem was, came back with multiple fault codes relating to engine sensors.
Tested the related fuses and relays all ok, tested for 12v feed on the fuse box nothing there, so removed the fuse box and tested the wires feeds all have 12v.
So fuse box is not allowing voltage through swaped it out for one off the shelf and retested voltage is there, all sorted 😃😃😃

Zafira Sri turbo in for engine upgrade. Z20ler is coming out due to low compression. And the z20leh is going back in will also be having a custom remap when it's all done.

Corsa d 1.4 in for dash repair mileage needle stuck at 20mph when it came in, this seem to be a common problem with the Corsa d.
Vauxhall quoted almost £1000 for parts excluding any labour, we collected the car from Vauxhall and repaird within in a couple of hours for less than 10% of what they quoted the customer 😃😃😃

Just a bit of a update, now have unit based in Stockton on tees, for all you vauxhall needs, Tech2, diagnostics, Programming, Repairs.
We also have Recovery available for any breakdowns, non runners, or Mot failures, New 2 poster ramp will be going in in a couple of weeks for those extra low cars.
We will still offer all the same services but now i don't have to crawl around on the floor or work in the bad weather i can do a lot more like servicing, Breaks, clutch replacemen...ts, engine rebuilds and swaps, Tuning packages and upgrades.

VX Decoder 1.3 now released added feature is vin look up + Old software remover, vin lookup will scan for previously decoded files, will add recall function in v1.4
Also a sneak peak at the new project.

Returning customer in today for a map tweak not really about making more power as this already running 330bhp, now fitted with some 630cc injectors and turbo smart 14psi actuator.

Astra vxr In today for a custom remap now making around 280bhp. All cars I tune get a full health check, this includes all sensors checked, compression test, actuators tested and live logging with wide band to make sure the car is in good health befor it's tuned.

Returning customer today with his Astra vxr, I tuned this car last year, it was setup with a garret gt28. Few changes have been made and new setup is now running a gt35 with external waste gate and screamer pipe. Power wise the car is now pulling around 470bhp.

Astra vxr In today for a full heath check including wideband fueling logs and a map tweak adding ignition cut, overrun, and launch control to the existing setup.
Hopping to see this in the future for some more power.

Corsa c running a gt30 chinky garret setup made awesome boost, now running around 400+ bhp

New VX-DECODER.

Boost and fueling logs from today's map, shame about the boost new actuator should sort this out. The break off pressure for the actuator was around 5-6psi This was a brand new actuator bud still not up to the job.

First map tweak of the year, Astra vxr running a set of 875cc injectors and a garret gt28 turbo now making around 400bhp.
I have mapped this car a few times now with mutiple setups, hopefully not be the last and will be back for more power later in the year.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jon for any Vauxhall job-after putting my ECU in the post on Monday, the ecu was read and back with me on Wednesday for a very good price-top man!

Used Jon at Vauxtech Northeast today to sort out a ecu/bcm problem on sons Corsa. Turned up exactly when he said and sorted out the problem quickly and efficiently. A wealth of knowledge and was a pleasure dealing with him...all this on a bank holiday Monday aswell. Highly recommended and would not hesitate to use again!!

Great service and always goes the extra mile to make sure everything was spot on for us. We can't recommend him highly enough.
