Ten out of ten for St Georges Day....one of the few pubs that bothered supporting the day. The place was busy and the atmosphere was brilliant

Not many pubs in town serve a good pint bar staff nice and friendly

Nice bar, great atmosphere, helpful friendly bar staff, prices were same as most other bars in the area so that was good, would go back again

Motown music night was fantastic with great Mates! Music was great brought back lots of happy memories. Everyone was in singing and dancing moods! Great atmosphere. Bar staff very friendly x

Amazing hidden gem in Sunderland! The gins are fab and the gin tray is a must! The service was fantastic and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend here if you're going to Sunderland for a drink!

Absolutely amazing pub, was willing it to do well from the beginning, lovely interior,lovely staff and brilliant service, it's an asset to the town, and as a regular I can say it's one of my favorite pubs in Sunderland !! Especially on a Sunday �

17 of us out for a birthday, the staff are the most welcoming and inviting, sorted us tables, nothing was a problem for them, quick and outstanding service, will definitely recommend to anyone, well done guys �

only downside is the toilets being too far away from the bar. Might be an idea to move them downstairs. I have mild incontinence so I was struggling to make it to the loo without having an accident.

Good venue. Staff on the go all the time serving anyone and everyone. Waiting time at the was the quickest of all the pubs in town.

It’s a nice pub friendly beers cheap nice n relaxing

I am a regular to this pub and have told friends and family to give it a try. The pub advertised the football and Grand National like last year. Unfortunately I was left very disappointed and angry with the staff on Saturday. The staff did not turn the music down just before the race. This put a negative vibe on what is normally a fun day in Tilleys. The staff had to be asked on several occasions once by myself to turn the music down and for the race commentary to be put on when this happened everyone cheered but by the time this happened the Grand National was practically finished. On another note my husband was at the bar for over 15 minutes yes 15 minutes and was not once served. People were coming into the bar and getting served straight away this obviously annoyed my husband and to top it off it was the females who were being served first. We have never had a problem like this before but it has put me off visiting this pub despite the fact they do play good music and the prices are brilliant for drinks. Could I just ask that if your going to advertise something can you make sure your staff know what they need to do. Thanks

Go in here quite a bit. I was in here yesterday, sitting opposite the disabled toilet. This smelt very bad. The men using this toilet were not disabled.
