Wow! Words fail me to be honest. Sarah did the spray for my grandma's funeral recently and what a beautiful arrangement. The flowers totally exceeded my expectations and the compliments they received were aplenty. Thank you Sarah for making a difficult time so special. I would highly recommend

We would like to say a huge thank you to Sarah for making our wedding day extra special with the most beautiful flowers. We didn't know any of the technical jargon of flowers and names etc but we described what we wanted as best as we could with various pics etc and Sarah put it all together and created something more amazing than we could have even imagined. The detail was spot on and my hubby didn't want anything fancy and fussy for his buttonholes and Sarah took this on board and gave him the simplistic look that he wanted for him and the other men. She was absolutely fantastic, one of the most genuine and down to earth people you could meet, she made it so easy and hassle free for us and I can honestly say the flowers weren't something I gave a second thought or worry during the planning of the wedding once we had told Sarah what we wanted I knew we were in safe hands and just waited to see what she had made for us on the day and they were amazing :) would highly recommend vintage essence to everyone!

Sarah kindly offered to do my flowers for my wedding, and they were amazing, I just sent her some ideas so did not know what they would look like till the day, and they were perfect, fantastic service would defo recommend, I often go to Sarah when we need flowers and she always do amazing job xxx

Sarah is one of the nicest florist around she always goes out of her way to accommodate you and she always has time, even when she is busy. She never makes you feel rushed, she always adds that little something as well. My mam asked for some red flowers on her angel from my son, as that is his favourite colour and it looked stunning and then to see she had put a little silver heart on. Just made it that bit more special and she was also very good with the relatives in America and Scotland, even with the time difference. She's one of a kind.

Sarah did my stunning wedding flowers and I couldn't have been happier with the end result. I sent over some photos of what I liked, (which to be honest was a real mix of things!) which Sarah some how deciphered and created the most beautiful bouquets/button holes etc. I also asked Sarah to source us some flowers and vases so we could make our own centre pieces which she was more than happy to do, I'm sure not all florists would be as willing or as helpful as Sarah was. The amazing smell of those flowers as we were making the centre pieces is one of my favourite memories from the day before our wedding.

The picture of her flowers speak for themselves but what really made Vintage Essence a great florist is Sarah's warmth and ability to put you at ease (even when you haven't really got any clue about flowers or what you want!). I would recommend VE to anyone looking for beautiful flowers, what ever the occasion.

Sarah did flowers for our wedding at Newton Hall, Northumberland, on Good Friday. They were even more stunning than we imagined! Definitely had that WOW factor! Quite simply the best florist! Sarah's attention to detail is second to none and she has an amazing talent for turning your dreams into reality. I didn't think it was possible to cry over flowers but my wedding bouquet absolutely took my breath way! Sarah is the salt of the earth and one of the nicest people you could ever meet.

I went on one of the wreath making courses at High Force, it was seriously good fun! I took my daughter who had never done anything like this before, but everything was provided, Sarah showed us all how to make the bows, and the results were stunning! Very good value and very professionally run, I would strongly recommend Vintage Essence to anyone, Sarah's knowledge is second to none! Many thanks!

I have used Sarah for flowers lots of times from school teacher gifts, to bouquets, done a wreath making class at Christmas, attended a flower arranging demonstration and also most importantly my wedding flowers! Sarah always goes above and beyond and her flowers are simply stunning, whatever flowers I have asked for Sarah has delivered and exceeded expectations! Sarah’s classes are fun and you really feel like you’ve made something lovely at the end of them to take home! I can honestly say Sarah exceeded my expectations in every way. Starting from our first meeting when she completely understood what I was looking for and helped me achieve it within my budget. Her talent is incredible and people are still talking about my flowers three months after the wedding!

Fantastic small business!!!! Over 12 years ago the wonderful Sarah did some wedding flowers for me that I could take to Italy and show their florists for the big day and I have bought from her ever since. The service is amazing and the lady herself is second to none!!! Myself and a group have friends attended her wreath making workshops for the last 2 years and always have a ball, we will continue Year after year!!! Highly recommended ��

Fantastic florist. So helpful. Had many bouquet's for different occasions and have all been beautiful.
