Vintage Home Stores Description

We started out restoring Vintage and Antique Furniture for trade - it was great fun but as you can imagine the people we were dealing with were somewhat boring and after a while we felt like we had aged 20 years!

The boss then did a private upcycle job for a well known London Store, and that was the moment the company changed.

We left the Antique Dealers in their overpriced stores with furniture that doesn't sell, and embarked on a new adventure.

We funked up retro furniture and gave Antique Furniture a new meaning of life. With so much experience in the retail sector, we started looking at what the posh shops were doing, and tried to recycle furniture to a similar theme with 2 main differences. We use real furniture and not mass produced flatpack rubbish from China, and because we recycle are able to sell at a fraction of the cost.

This led us into a new chapter - we have since been asked to provide furniture for showhomes, theatres, film, TV, photography and so much more.

This is where we are now with our adventure - so everything you see on facebook and ebay (http://stores. ebay. co. uk /Vintage-Home-Stores) has been used on one of our projects.

Please bear in mind we are not retailers - we don't have a shop, we don't wear suits and we are not tied to one place during the week. If you want to come down to one of our warehouses you are welcome on our designated open day.

We don't charge retail prices, we don't employ retail commission led salespeople and we don't produce fancy retail point of sale. This means we don't charge ridiculous retail prices but the flip side is we dont offer a full retail service.

If you want to be pampered by cheesy salespeople or sucked into the advertising image of a retail store (thinking buying off them means you too can be automatically catapulted into the footballers lifestyle) then you are not a VHS customer.
