Went today and enjoyed lovely scones cakes and pot of tea. I had my 4 year old daughter with me who was made very welcome by the lovely ladies running it. Would def recommend this teashop and will def be back!

Went for afternoon tea yesterday. 4 adults and 3 children. The cakes are amazing. The best ginger cake ever and the homemade cherry bakewells were delicious.

We will definitely be back and bringing reinforcements to help us cake test.

Staff were really friendly and very helpful.

VIP Teas-love it!! Been with my Mam a couple times,can't fault it! Would go every week if I could! Love the homely feel and the food is delicious. Highly recommend to all my friends and family!

Lovely clean tea room with great service the coffee is a dream and the cakes are just delicious � also it is done out vintage style which I absolutely love � would definitely recommend � xx

Just returned from afternoon tea at VIP teas, where my first birthday girl and 17 of her guests enjoyed a lovely array of sandwiches, scones to die for and some gorgeous cakes! The staff were so helpful in the build up to the day and they worked hard in making sure we were stocked up on teas and coffees throughout our visit. Will be recommending to all my friends. Thank you VIP teas x

Just had my baby shower here !! The staff are lovely and very accommodating! The food was amazing. Would definitely recommend coming here to anyone even just for a light bite or a cuppa �

I came here with my Mam and sister last Saturday for an afternoon tea treat. I had previously heard many good things about this tea room, from friends, face book comments and also reviews on the Internet, so I was keen to try it out. On arriving the first thing we all noticed was the decor, so pretty and typically 'vintage' style. The afternoon tea itself was absolutely delicious, and compared to many other afternoon teas I have tried, I was impressed with the amount served for the price- although we were unable to eat it all!!! I thought it was good value for money given how we had several cups of tea, coffee and one of us had 2 large glasses of fresh fruit juice. The service was excellent, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. There is a lovely atmosphere in the tea room, and seems a popular, busy little place to go. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who fancies a little treat, it is well worth a visit. We all agreed we would definitely be back and have told so many friends and family how fab VIP tea rooms is. Thank you for a lovely afternoon, can't wait to return!

Have been a few times now and it hasn't failed to impress. Food is fantastic, with plenty of variety. Great amount of food for the afternoon tea. A lovely atmosphere and customer service. Informed them at short notice of a gluten free guest and they pulled out all the stops to create a fabulous gluten free afternoon tea. Have yet to find any afternoon tea place to rival VIP Teas! Can't wait for my next visit

Had a lovely birthday tea for my dad, cakes were amazing, scones so popular we were lucky to get one fresh out the oven, just warm! Totally delicious. Fab friendly service, nothing too much of an ask!

Due to the weather last week I needed a last minute birthday cake, VIP Teas couldn't have been more helpful and baked me a beautiful salted caramel chocolate cake for the next day. Everyone loved it, thank you again. I also sampled the hot chocolate and savoury scones (which were also amazing) when I popped in to order the cake, not a bad snow day really!
