Relive the cinematic magic of these classic films at Vue:

We went to see Peter Rabbit and enjoyed the VIP seating experience best view in the cinema. Wouldn't sit any where else. There is a lot of reviews on here moaning about the money. Its a lot more expensive to use the Odeon cinema in the metro, you get what you pay for !!

User

Screen 1 screen is huge, it's great, although some of the other screebs are a bit smaller (you still have enough seating space and it does not detract from the overall viewing experience). Always seems clean and they do decent deals on food and drinks. Staff seem pleasant. Tickets are well-priced and we have always enjoyed our visit here. Overall, depending on times, our first choice cinema venue.

My fave cinema love the place..handy just walking out of Tescos car park straight to the cinema you get 4 hrs. free parking. Lovely staff nice clean place cheapest prices on the market and getting cheaper Im told love it so much I go twice a-week..

User

We love this place so not really a review just think people should be more coutrtious to others !!! went last night though to see Peter rabbit had paid extra for the larger seats then a how can I put it family of 5 Scrufs sat behind us throwing popcorn kicking seats you could even hear the Scruffs eating their food over the film ļæ½ really annoying to have this I think the cinema ushers should be in the film showings to combat this sort of thing

We are really lucky as we get free travel to Gateshead (pensioners!) so no parking problems, and we go on Mondays when it is only Ā£3.99 each. A cheap afternoon out. The staff are friendly and toilets clean. 2 weeks ago it was quite cold but yesterday much warmer though there was a notice stating they had problems with heating. Overall, a favourite cinema of ours!!

Took my 5yr old daughter to see incredibles 2 yesterday. This was our first time attending the Vue Gateshead as we normally go to the Odeon Silverlink as we live closer. Due to the price difference we will be going more often and to the Vue. The sound was amazing in screen 4 only let down was the audience (older kids without parents) but it was a kids movie so i'll let it slide this time ļæ½

As I'm disabled we had to sit at the back. Every time someone went out or came in the door banged just behind me. The staff were in and out throughout the film, so the door was going incessantly. Very distracting.

Took my sister, niece & nephew to see the 12.10 showing of Ferdinand yesterday Friday 22nd Dec. I used my Club Lloyds vouchers so technically free however apart from the front row which is not ideal for a 4 & 7 year old, there was not four seats together due to the cinema being very busy, unless I paid an extra Ā£2.00 per seat which I was happy to do so.

We sat down and thoroughly enjoyed the film. But as I looked around there was only the a few families sitted, dotted around and by no way was the cinema full to the point there wasn't four seats together available! In fact there was about 75% availability with four together.

From what I saw, about 6/7 rows of 10/12 seats in the small cinema (screen 9). At the very most I would have said there were 12-14 bums on seats including us 4.

I went back to the counter to see someone about having to pay the extra Ā£8.00 and hoping for a bit of good customer service and the possibility of having my money back only to be shown the computer screen showing all the 'pre booked' seats/availability. I continued to explain I had just walked out of the cinema and it certainly was NOT full! If said computer was correct it would mean that approximately 40 + people didn't turn up to the showing having already paid for which I find extremely hard to believe!!!!

Ā£8.00 is not a lot of money but it's the principle and the lack and level of customer service that I received. I certainly won't be doing the same thing again!

Not good enough VUE!!!!!

User

Although not strictly their fault, i parked in Tescoā€™s car park and wasnā€™t given my voucher to validate my car park stay, after returning back to the Vue for it, and waiting in a queue, we managed to make it back to Tescoā€™s to have overrun the 4 hours by a minute! Ā£2.70 to pay, for a minute!, sorry, we wonā€™t be back
