Relive the cinematic magic of these classic films at Vue:

User

Went to watch the greatest showman today at the 4.15 show and the till guy on the end 2nd in on the right of the counter was absolutely fab, he was lovely and upbeat and made me and my 9 year old excited for the film. He also sold me VIP and snack packages as he sold them to me so well lol, cinema clean and seats are so comfy. Thank you ďż˝

Just been to see the 40th anniversary showing of Grease with my Mrs. First time I've been to the VUE but I'll definitely be going back.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The seats are extremely comfortable with lots of legroom.

The screen was huge and the sound system was unbelievable, you could hear all the ambient background chat that you would normally strain to hear.

All in all, it was a fantastic experience and both of us agreed that we would be returning in the near future.

User

After a last minute decision we arrived with 4mins to spare before film due to start! Never fail though we had time to buy tickets, find our seats, go back and get munchies, confuse the attendant, sit and eat and drink munchies before film even started!! Really comfy chairs, loads of space, no noisy people, chatting or eating (probably same as me and ate all before film!) nice and clean. Defo be back.

User

3rd visit to Vue Cinema and thoroughly enjoyed it. No issues with the venue which is easy to get to with multi storey parking close by. There have not been any issues with staff who have been friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the Vue Cinema.

User

Took my son to see the Incredibles 2. Couldn’t get in on Friday but returned Saturday morning. Had more or less whole Cinema Screen to ourselves. Much more comfortable than Cineworld at Boro and Showcase at Teesside Park. Only issue is that there were no clear signs as where to purchase tickets as you go in. Apart from that a very good experience!

User

This is the 5th visit, took my older children to see deadpool 2. As usual the queuing for foods was all over the place, you had people queuing for tickrts, some for food and drink, it was just all over, took 20 mins to get 4 drinks and 2 bags of sweets, 20 mins.

I had pre booked as always so we just went to the machines to get tickets easy!!!

The screen was as always amazing, clean tidy, but unfortunately annoying people with phones, not the fault of the cinema, just saying..

Thanks again vue, but please try and sort a different system for the snacks and tickets, I can't stand that long, and id hate to have to travel back to catterick to watch cinema..

User

The only problem I have is the queue system really needs sorting. We queued for ages to get tickets for deadpool 2 a few weeks ago we didn't want snacks and the quick pay machines were only taking pre booked tickets we were lucky to get the last 2 tickets. I was in yesterday and struggled to get tickets for the same reason would be easier if you could get tickets then you don't mind waiting a while for food. The queues are all over the place aswell they should have one line with multiple till open. After we have sorted that We love going to the vue it is tidy comfy and a great experience

User

The cinema is excellent, priced very reasonably, clean and comfortable. The only downside is there is no direct access from the car park, unless you go out in the ďż˝ rain. Kind of makes a covered car park pointless.

User

On the whole a good experience, however the length of time spent in the queue for tickets and snacks really needs to be addressed

User

Lovely cinema bit pricey but cinemas are Only thing we didn't like was seats didn't lift up so when people needed to get out we couldn't just get up we had to move out of the row as the gap wasn't wide enough

User

Love the venue and service. However I think a member of staff should sit in on each screening as people talking ruined a picture for us this week. People talking through films is totally unacceptable and they should be ashamed of themselves. Tried several times to ‘shush’ them :(

User

It's the 3rd time I've visited and each time we have been disturbed by people talking or messing around. I agree it with regards to the food/drinks service there are no orderally queuing system then took a good 10mins for 1 latte, disappointing

User

I thought the staff at the tills were very ignorant. I didn't understand the discount I was given and I asked her to explain the charges. You would have thought I asked her to read the dictionary out loud. Then when we bought the deadpool kids drink cups I mentioned I didn't want the display ones. She made it obvious she wasn't happy about going into the stock room. All other staff brilliant but since these guys are front of house they need to work on their soft skills. These were 2 different members of staff.

User

Fantastic cinema, clean and really comfy seats with lots of space between seats for food and drinks.

Queuing was all over the place, no signs to know where to queue or what for! Very confusing and annoying, when you have children with you that are exited to see the film 😕

User

Yesterday was ruined by appalling behaviour of teenagers thinking they were clever and funny by shouting, talking and general rudeness! Hats off to the manager who also was appalled by a staff member who had told his boss that he had "removed" these kids...he hadn't! I don't normally complain but this was ruining my daughter's day. Thank you to the manager who understood my frustration...full refund given back ďż˝

User

The staff were properly awesome at our showing of Avengers: Infinty War. But the 3D was slightly out of focus. The background was completely unwatchable. This is not usual for the venue but bad enough to ruin it's reputation for me. Will return and hopefully it will be better

User

Well I arrived today for a movie 30 minutes before the start, queued for 25 minutes with the wife and kids for tickets only to be told they had sold out ages earlier. Complained to the 'manager' only to be told 'we post it on the screens'. Absolute rubbish, knowing it's a popular movie we continuously checked the screens. Needless to say although Odeon Darlington has fewer screens, they are cheaper and will always take care of customers, guess they have a new customer! So I have to say, you are massively understaffed with a rude 'manager' and a poor service which left my kids who were excited to see a movie walking home without the big screen experience promised. Would vote 0 stars after this but that isn't an option

User

Shocking customer service, sons friend went away crying after being refused entry, staff wouldn’t speak to me on the phone, had to leave work to go down to confirm my sons age, which apparently as a parent my word is not good enough, like I don’t know my sons own age!! Had to have passport sent over, one who was refused entry is older than my son and doesn’t have a passport. Very disappointed and worse of all you have upset a young boy and stopped him enjoying a day out with his friends at the start of the holidays! Staff wouldn’t speak to me apart from say he needs an adult with him and to move to let people through. Despite the fact that my son and his friends had already purchased tickets. Annoying, disappointing is how I would rate the experience of VUE today!

User

Collected my tickets and went with my daughter to buy some refreshments. Placed our order for a slush and popcorn. Then offered another snack as it would be free. We declined as we did not want anything else. Only to be met by the young gentleman going over and over it again. For the forth time we refused to be told “it’s my job to point this out” that I understand however we don’t want it. Still he insisted. I pointed out as a customer I reserve the right to say no as we don’t want it. Still he persisted. Then for the full time whilst waiting of our we were followed and made to feel uneasy by the security guard. We will not be going back to this cinema again. This is the third time we have been unhappy with the service here.
