Would absolutely recommend Waterbabies. Both my boys have done it until they were too old and they loved it. Eldest (6 years old) is a confident swimmer and the little one (3) can easily swim at least 10 m. Loved Clair as our teacher too. She's the best!! ��

Where to start, this program is simply amazing. My son started aged 6 months old and I was pretty sceptical (I was a non swimmer). Over the course of the program I've watched my son develop, not only into a confident little swimmer....with absolutely no fear around water, but he also developed a sense of achievement, fantastic social skills and made a whole host of friends along the way.



The whole water babies program is well structured, well executed, but most of all fun....the kids won't even know they are learning



Now....onto MICHELLE....you were never just an instructor....you were more like a friend. I could never thank you enough....for the confidence you've given my son....you were amazing....and will be a miss!!! Seeing Isaac brimming with confidence has given me the confidence to learn to swim too....so thank you

We’ve gone to Water babies since my little Girls was three months old.

She absolutely loves it, the enjoyment on her face melts my heart each week!

It’s given her so much water confidence and myself and husband peace of mind in the water.

Our teacher is really friendly & down to earth, we aim to keep going until the end!!

This is a brilliant class and I would highly recommend to anyone with a little one! So worth while watching your little one grow and learn new things each week and most importantly how to stay safe in the water from a very young age! ��

My son started when he was 3 months old, he is now 4 years old & has completed his full water babies journey. I can not recommend these classes highly enough from how quickly he learned water safety skills as a baby to the confident swimmer he is today. The quality of teaching is second to none, my son can swim a pool width independently, he loves going under water & has a love of swimming generally. When we are in community pools or on holiday he always receives compliments how good a swimmer he is.



My son was 6 weeks premature & the health visitor often commented how strong he was & how fast he caught up. I am in no doubt going to water babies helped him.



The instructors are trained to a very high standard and use a range of techniques to help babies learn. Even when my son was being difficult the instructor helped me & him through it.





The photo shoots make a lovely unique keepsake, he has just had a double photo shoot with his sister who has just started her water babies journey.



Water babies has been a hugely important part of my son’s life & he will continue his love of swimming because of this early teaching.

She's super confident in the water & has learned so much from them, the lessons are very professional in a lovely relaxed environment. We've loved every minute of our water babies journey! Isla absolutely loves her class, I didn't know what to expect at first and was quite nervous especially going under! But she has grown in so much confidence in the water even in the small time she's been going. We definitely feel more confident at our local pools and on holiday :)

I really enjoyed the 2 terms I did with my little girl. We started when she was 6 weeks old and whilst there were days she just wasn’t in the mood (tears, sleeping or more tears) the instructor was always so accommodating and understanding. It’s built my confidence of what to do when in the water and it was so rewarding watching my daughter grow in confidence and enjoy her time splashing around with her friends. I have also made friends with the mams from the group which made the experience even more enjoyable. I can’t recommend Water babies enough, we only stopped as I returned back to work.

I have been attending Water Babies with my son since he was about ten weeks. He's now nearly two and has grown in confidence, despite a period of water wobbles, and clearly enjoys the sessions each week. Our instructor Claire is lovely, very professional and she has a great sense of humour with parents and little ones and I feel this contributes to the relaxed, fun atmosphere at our sessions. I enjoy them as much as my son! I definitely recommend these classes!

Harry and I are in to our 4th term, he's 11 month and absolutely loves it! Plus I'm amazed at his water confidence and skills. Our teacher Lynette is fantastic too.

Both my children did Water Babies and I can not recommend them enough. The lessons are well thought out and the teaching is outstanding. We have had Sally who is truly amazing. It is a fantastic opportunity to bond with your baby. I'm so pleased that we completed the course. Although the lessons are expensive, you get what you pay for, and it is worth every penny. My children are now confident in the water thanks to the course. Simply fabulous!!

After now being with water babies for 3 years for evie and now on to 4th term with Theo all I can say is the service over the last 3 years have been amazing ! The ladies in the office have accommodated our needs so well , fitting us in to classes after a break due to medical reasons when I was pregnant, getting us more or less back to back lessons for both children . Yes we have had pool closures and cancelled lessons but this generally has been out of water babies control ! I know that the pool ended up being closed after Evie was sick in the pool at Marriott , which for a parent is not a nice feeling - but any of our babies could be that one ! Iv had Lynne, sally, clair , michelle (both ) , Kendal and boss Claire at some point be in the pool and they all are different and but they all have the goal to teach our children the safest way to swim / build confidence in the water �. Expensive yes but worth every penny. Well done water babies you are truly amazing

After joining at 9 weeks old, and swimming with Clare for 3 and a half years, the time has come for my water baby to start "big boy" swimming lessons. We've enjoyed every second, and are leaving with a little boy extremely confident in the water that can even swim a little bit on his own. I cannot recommend water babies highly enough!

Absolutely brilliant program and classes. You can’t put a price on your child’s safety, this is a life skill. Outstanding teachers!



Our daughter started at 8 weeks and 4 years later of Friday night swimming, with our teacher Michelle, we have come to the end of our journey.



It fit perfectly around work so I could continue the class with my little girl once I returned to work. Our daughter is now a confident swimmer and we feel at ease every time she is near water. She has loved her time swimming with you. Wish there was an extension for older kids.

I started taking my son when he was approx 6 weeks old and he'll be 17 months when we stop at the end of this term. At first, it was quite enjoyable - singing songs and activities in the water that attempt to teach them water safety. However, for months now, my son has been going through what they call 'wobbles', which is when they revolt against what you're trying to do. You get no additional support when this happens and you're basically told to miss out a bunch of activities until they grow out of it, which could be months, and you're left with a screaming, clawing baby while you watch the others'. My son, after all this time, still can't do the most basic of safety activities and we get no tips on how to change this. That's not to say the teachers aren't really friendly because they are. But there are improvements that could be made to make sure all babies are learning and not just the good ones. For £15 per half hour, they could at least try.



Then you have a rather unhelpful admin team who have the cheek to send renewal reminders after weeks of cancelled classes and let downs and refuse to refund you when your children have things like chickenpox unless you pay for a doctors note (which cost more than the price of a class).



Overall, water babies are fine when everything goes swimmingly (see what I did there) but are very clearly just after your money because when anything doesn't work out, it's tough. I probably wouldn't recommend unless you have a very easy baby and more money than you need.

Stay clear of this class!!!! So far I have had 3 classes out of 4 cancelled. In most cases I have been notified a few hours before the class. The first time was due to personal reasons the 2nd the pools pump then the 3rd time chlorine levels. Rubbish text messages sent out just stating refunds will be processed. I'm sure when this class was designed there was 9 classes within the course. Each class would have a vital benefit for the progression of my sons swimming. I'm sure 2 classes being cancelled would cause my sone not to have the full benefit of this course. This isn't the way water babies see it. Basically all they want is your £15 for a half hour course. If the main interest was to education children replacement classes would alway be put on to complete the course. Now as I want to cancel the course I have to be charged £50. Absolutely disgusting. I've never know a company so unprofessional. Never would I recommend these. It will be a lot cheap and more beneficial for your child to go to a local pool for there class.

Why Water Babies?
Meet Fearne, at 3 years 6months she is confidently pushing off from the side and swimming on her back, one of her favourite tasks is to dive down to collect a sinking seal from the bottom of the pool. Water confidence that has come from her Mum Carly bringing her to Water Babies at a young age.

We started at water babies when Charlie was 5 weeks old and we’ve just finished chapter one, about to start chapter two next week. I love water Babies and I can’t recommend it enough !! Water babies is the only thing we do which I look forward to every week. The sessions are amazing in every way; being fun, good for baby and the teacher is lovely. The teacher always puts the babies interests first and we do new things each week. Charlie’s behaviour in the water has changed over the weeks, now being a lot calmer and content in and under the water. Water babies has given me so much confidence for swimming with my baby, doing things I’d never dare do without them or think about doing without them! It’s has been and is a really important part of

We have just started chapter 16 and have had the amazing Nicki from the beginning, Nicki is a fantastic teacher and knows exactly when to push Louie that little bit more and knows when he has reached his limit. Louie is so confident in the water and every week he tells me that he has had fun. We will miss not having Nicki as our teacher and hope to see her soon

We have been swimming with water babies since 2012, we started with my eldest daughter and couldn’t wait to sign our youngest up as soon as we could. Today was my youngest daughters last lesson and i am truly heartbroken at the thought of leaving waterbabies behind. Both my girls have left water babies so confident in the water, and water safety is ways on their minds, which is why we signed up in the first place. The teachers are amazing and friendly. We have all thoroughly enjoyed our swimming journey and we will be sad not to be apart of the water babies family x

Today the first words my son said when he woke up this morning were 'I'm going swimming on Sunday, I want to see Delsa .......and bubba' words we never thought we would hear after going through the wobbles last summer which lasted a few months.

The last 6 months Jacob has gained so much confidence and is really enjoying going to water babies again after lots of support and encouragement from our water babies instructor Delsa.

He's met lots of new friends and he loves his Sunday morning routine.

For anyone who's child is going though the wobbles, stick with it, it's definitely worth it in the long run.

Big thank you to Delsa for making our lessons enjoyable and working with Jacob to help regain his confidence in the water! And also thank you carolyn for the advice.

Teddy has just completed his first chapter at WB Sporting lodge and we have LOVED IT!!

Nicky (aka Aunty Nicky) our instructor has been excellent and it‚Äôs amazing to see how far all the babies have come from week 1 to now! I can‚Äôt wait to start the next chapter with Ted ÔŅĹ I would recommend to all Mums to definitely get booked on and watch their little waterbabies develop!

Our little boy started water babies when he was 12 weeks at high tunstall with Debbie as his teacher. After initially saying we were only doing 10 weeks, 4 years later and Ethan has graduated after completing the full water babies course.

It has not been an easy journey, we have encountered many episodes of the water wobbles but without the patients and support from Debbie Ethan would not have the water skills he has today. Ethan is not the most confident swimmer but loves his lessons and Debbie always made Ethan feel confident by adapting the skill to Ethan's level and ability. We are looking forward to the next chapter in our swimming progress with another swim school, however continue to see the lovely Debbie as she has been teaching our 19 month little girl since she was 10-12 weeks.

All I have left to say is THANK YOU water babies (Debbie Webb) for your patients and giving Ethan (and Harriet) the best start to their swimming skills xx keep up the good work xx

Our daughter has been going to Water Babies from being 12 weeks old - she is now 2 and still loving every lesson!! We were advised to use a warm water pool with her being slightly younger and this was definitely great advice! I have never been a confident swimmer and wanted to make sure that Rumer was - her confidence in the pool is amazing. I feel this is down to the way in which they are taught the same safety skills over and over to make sure that they remember them along with the new things they are learning week on week! The little songs and rhymes used to aid our little people are also fun and interactive!



Rumer has a fantastic relationship with her teacher Melissa and her lovely little swimming buddies!!! Some may think it's a bit expensive but we feel it's worth every penny! She may not end up being an Olympic swimmer but she definitely knows how to be safe in the pool, even at this early age!



I'm so pleased that we still have a couple of years left to go and like others, we'll be so sad when her time comes to leave x

Onto our 4th chapter with our little water baby Albie he loves it and has given us confidence to take him on holiday from doing these lessons. I would recomend water babies to anyone to gain knowledge and confidence how to handle your baby in the water. The teachers are fantastic.

My little girl is on her 4th term and I can't believe how far she's come, she loves water babies, even singing the tunes in the car on our way gets her excited, she's so confident in water, she's never cried once! But it's not just about the fun it's about piece of mind, knowing it's teaching her how to be safe in water, it's not only made her a happy confident baby but it's help me over come some fear of going under the water too! My little boy has just completed Chapter 17 and I can honestly say that we’ve had the most amazing time. His teacher Melissa has been just fantastic! She helped us through water wobbles, and patiently and professionally guided my son week by week to do more and more. He’s now so confident in the water and it’s all down to Melissa’s support and encouragement.

My daughter and I are just coming to the end of our first chapter at waterbabies and are very much looking forward to the next chapter. Harriet was 8 weeks old when she started at High Tunstall hydro pool and I can’t believe the progress she has made. Carolyn, our swimming teacher, has been extremely supportive throughout our first chapter and has made me feel at ease when releasing Harriet under the water. At times I have felt very nervous but I am so pleased and thankful to Carolyn for her encouraging words - I didn’t realise someone so small could achieve so much. We have created lots of fantastic memories and are looking forward to making many more.

My daughter Vienna has just finished a 5 week block with water babies at total fitness. She started when she was 11 weeks old. Her first lesson she was a bit unsure and cried quite a lot! The instructor Nicki at water babies reassured me to keep carrying on and not be put off and so I did. I am over the moon she kept reassuring me because the difference in Vienna after 5 weeks is amazing. She's so confident in the water and is smiling away. We would recommend to everyone to start water babies and we can't wait to start more classes! Thank you so much.

Max started at water babies when he was about 12 weeks old and had Debbie as his teacher throughout his entire water babies journey. He just graduated on Saturday at 3 1/2 years old and he is so confident in the ÔŅĹ and most importantly can swim!!!It was like a little family that you met up with every Saturday, everyone was friendly and all of the kids got on so well. We have made some very special friends and I honestly don't know what we will do with our Saturdays anymore. We will miss water babies and even more so we will miss Debbie. Max and Debbie had a special bond and it was emotional having to say goodbye. If you are thinking twice about sending your little one then don't! It was worth every penny and more!!!I cannot thank Debbie Webb enough for everything she has done for us ÔŅĹÔŅĹ

I've been with water babies since my son was 8 weeks old he's now 2 and we absolutely love it!! Chapter 8 and 9 however wasn't our best, Archie had a major case of the wobbles to the point that I thought our water babies journey was over but Laura encouraged Archie each week and let him go at his own pace. Chapter 10 was our turning point, his confidence is unreal and such a pleasure to see. People comment on his swimming and confidence when we take him swimming outside of our lesson. I am so glad we stuck with it and got through the wobbles because he really has come out the other side better than I ever would of expected. I would recommend water babies to everyone.

I love water babies, it's really giving us the confidence to take our lil baba swimming. The instructor is very patient and reassuring throughout. Our lil girl was only 8 weeks when we started and once I learnt to stop looking so worried she really enjoyed it. Really would recommend everyone to let their little baby experience swimming in this safe environment.

I have been taking my daughter Lyla to waterbabies since she was 5 months old, she is about to turn 3 in 2 weeks. I can honestly say it's the best thing I have ever done she loves every minute of it and doesn't want to get out of the water.

Her teacher Melissa is amazing, so understanding to each child's needs and is always so welcoming, she's made our waterbabies adventure such a special and happy time , especially during lylas little wobbles she hasn't always enjoyed it.

I even thought about quitting about 2 terms ago as she kept getting upset, but melissa guided us though and encouraged lyla and me to keep going and I am so glad we did she is a brilliant little swimmer now so confident and wants to swim on her own with little help for me ( of which I didn't think would ever happen especially during the water wobbles as she was always clung to my neck! )

Friday mornings are the highlight of our week watching lyla progress, seeing her so happy and confident learning a life skill.

I have been taking my children to waterbabies since the were 12 wks old. My little boy went every week till after he turned 4 and my little girl is still going weekly at 18mth. I can honestly say it is one of the best things we have done with them. They are both extremely confident in the water and love every minute of it. And it is the best bonding time for parents and children. It makes holidays a pleasure as we know that they will play happily in the water all day long if we let them. Thank you to Angela. She is amazing.

I can‚Äôt rave about waterbabies enough! It‚Äôs absolutely brilliant and only 8 weeks into it I can see how much confidence it has given my baby, he started from 5 weeks and when I took him to a public swimming pool yesterday I noticed the difference in him compared to older children splashing about and crying! Everyone who has a baby should do this ÔŅĹ

Absolutely loved our time with waterbabies, Debs is an amazing teacher, so friendly and patient with the babies. Eli has done four chapters and after our first holiday abroad makes it all worth while as he has no fear of the water what so ever. Couldn't recommend enough. Happy swimming.
