The Waterford lodge hotel is the perfect venue to celebrate your special occasion.
Situated in the delightful market town of Morpeth. The Waterford Lodge really is a great location, moments from the centre of the town and with Carlisle park neighbouring it makes for a magnificent backdrop to your wedding photos.
This beautiful 18th century coaching inn has masses of character and charm to ensure your day is as memorable and beautiful as possible.
The Waterford lodge has splendid accommodation, including our luxurious bridal suite with a four poster bed. Also a choice of double, twin and family rooms available all fitted with ensuite facilities. It also has a fantastic restaurant and bar as well as a large and spacious function room.
Ideal for wedding receptions is our fantastic function room with a magnificent opening sky roof. This can hold up to 150 guests, and can allow for both dining and dancing. It is a beautiful room which can be dressed to match your wedding requirements.
The cuisine is superb, and has an amazing selection of mouth watering wedding menus and buffet choices. There is also a choice of drinks packages to toast to the health and happiness of the newly married couple.

Well it's a great place for Sunday lunch but was there Wednesday night I got up had a go with two songs got free supper and a pint ..would you not love this place come on think about it
We were just passing and thought we would try out the carvery. The food was just so good and a great variety of dishes and the service excellent. Definitely would recommend stopping by��

The Waterford Lodge is a fantastic place, all of the staff are really friendly and always seem happy. We have been going up for about 7 years and have never had a problem. The food is always beautiful too, it just feels like another home. It's just a really relaxing place
The Sunday dinners are amazing, nice bits of meat, roasties were amazing, we went for a Sunday dinner to take away, the staff were so helpful, we ended up staying for a glass of coke, we decided to get a dessert to take away to, the cheese cake was mouth watering, the best cheesecake we’ve had, highly recommend the Waterford Lodge for dinner, they also have a vegetarian option, amazing! Stayed in the hotel with my family for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it here. Found the staff to be friendly and very accommodating, and incredibly tolerant of the loud Scottish family suddenly taking over the hotel and bar! Food was lovely, bar was great, beds were extremely comfortable and rooms were wonderful. No complaints, would definitely stay here again!
Stayed here for new year's eve, had a meal in the restaurant and drinks in the bar. Lovely hotel and all staff were very nice and very helpful, will definitely stay again .

Had our wedding here at the end of May fantastic service. Simone and the team did an amazing job and made our day truly special. Breakfast was lovely and the rooms are nice too. Been for a carvery many times and the food is amazing.
Had a lovely meal on 31st December 2014 for 6 plus a toddler. We wanted to eat earlier than the set menu and the staff were amazing, they organised food from the bar menu for us, the food was fantastic, the service first rate. I would definitely recommend

Brilliant service and good atmosphere
Attended special birthday party on Saturday. Small hall but as there was a band, the bar and quieter are were adjacent, so ample room. The hot and cold buffet was the best I've ever tasted. Choice was curry, lasagne, chilli con carne or chicken with either rice or chunky wedges. The usual choice of sandwiches if you prefer cold buffet. Staff helpful. Lovely area outside but unfortunately weather conditions not able to use it. Outside area would be lovely in summer. Lovely venue.
Was at a friends wedding the room was decorated lovely, staff very friendly and helpful, buffet we had was also very nice indeed.We booked a room to stay over was very spacious the room needs bit updating breakfast was lovely.enjoyed our stay

Had a lovely night out with 2 friends tonight and decided to make the Waterford our last stop for the night and got greeted with a very rude barman who's main concern was to let customers know it was last orders at 22.30 (bearing in mind it was only 22.10) so we were rushed to choose our drinks, then another customer came in 5 minutes later and was turned away as he'd bottled up!! A disappointing end to a lovely night with friends!
