User

We had lamb with mashed potato and buttered vegetables and a classic burger. For dessert it was Elton Mess and Sticky toffee pudding. Every single mouthful was perfectly delicious. Washed down with a glass of merlot.

User

Travelled up to Hexham to meet family and my new Grand Nephew so six of us went for lunch on Saturday 14th. Menu choice was really good and all were well satisfied! My Game Mixed Grill went down really well as did my Apple & Berry Crumble with "extra" custard (I love a little dessert with my custard). Despite very good food highlight was the service - a delightful young lady by the name of Anna looked after us (and my custard requirements) magnificently and never missed a beat! 3 hours away from home BUT I will be back!

User

This is a fantastic pub / restaurant with excellent food and really good service. Don't want to praise it too much as everyone will turn up 😀 Our new local😀

User

User

Had lunch here yesterday, lovely place, lovely food and lovely staff, we will defiantly be back.

User

First time I've visited the Wellington and it certainly won't be the last ...

The food was fabulous. I had the slow cooked pork belly and my partner had the homemade steak and ale pie. We were both looking forward to a dessert, but our helpings were more than generous so unfortunately we had no room left to sample one. We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, all the staff were very polite and attentive.

User

Absolutely love coming here!!! Lovely welcoming staff and the sharing platters on new menu are delicious!!!!

User

Very welcoming, lovely staff, nice meal and atmosphere. Lovely outside seating seating area

User

Lovely food. 1 meal would have done 2 people . Shame we wasted so much of this delicious meal but we were full

User

Beautiful meal for Rabbie Burns night. Absolutely lush food and great atmosphere. Our first venture into this establishment and will definitely be back. A local gent from the village playing his bagpipe for us was a lovely touch, taking my back to my childhood.

User

Waited while for order to be taken. Most of the food nice and hot but one meal was cold. One member of staff helpful other didn't really make us feel comfortable.

User

It was our first time there the meal was lovely but if I had to critisise we were inside and the flies that kept bombarding our plates was the only of put

User

We have been quite a few times and the food was very good

Today we went and were very disappointed my Mam ordered chicken which had been very over cooked n very dry with hardly any sauce n my daughter ordered steak very rare n was medium to well done

The other food was ok

Must be different chefs and a different menu

Won't be back in s hurry

User

Steak was ok but the mass of onions lumped together and the lettuce core thrown on the plate were not ok at all. I was mistakenly given one of the chef's knives by a waiter and the dish I originally ordered was unavailable...on a Saturday night! On the plus side, the IPA was a decent pint.
