You can enjoy a 4 days walk going from St Ives to Porthcurno next Summer.
A walk packed full of incredible scenery. Some of the most photographed and most acclaimed Cornish landscapes are to be found here. From the vaulted cliffs and sea arches of Lands End to the outstanding pink hued cliffs of Porthcurno Bay. Add to this crystal clear waters and a profusion of wild flowers and the region’s popularity is easily understood.

St ives to Newquay Coastal Walk:
Continuing our exploration of the north coast, this five day walk extends out of West Cornwall and into the more accessible region of Mid Cornwall. One thing that doesn’t change however is the grandeur of the cliffs, the golden beaches and the crashing of the Atlantic Ocean. The coastline remains a rugged victim of the waves and abandoned mines haunt this atmospheric landscape.
The sandy expanses of Hayle, Perranporth and Holywell make up sign...ificant stretches of the coast but in between these summer play grounds, the coast path runs along 90m high cliffs and past endless inaccessible rocky coves. This pictures captures perfectly the breath taking view as you approach St Agnes Beach. Hey! can you spot the seals? This week we walked the Coast Path, from Lands End to Porthcurno and it was simply wonderful. The waters are the clearest you will find in Cornwall and the few beaches en route are just as spectacular. Porthcurno and Porthchapel are real gems and worth stopping off in. It is a common part of the coast to observe seals so keep your eyes open.

We were 5 ladies from Austria, walking the Coast Path from May 23rd till June 1st. organized by Western Discoveries, which was the best decision. All went well and the accommodations offered us a wide sight of Cornwall and their wonderful people. We loved it - thank you very much to Russ and his team!

We did a wonderful ten day walk fro Padstow to Penzance, and Western Discoveries did an excellent job in booking the accommodations and transporting our bags. Their recommendations for daily destinations and other advice they gave us was gratefully appreciated. We were completely satisfied with the service they provided, and I would not hesitate to recommend them. I think booking with a local company was a very sound choice.

Three little ladies from Vancouver Island BC decided one day, as we walked along our seawalk, that we should see if we could find a walk in Cornwall, England that would be suitable for us (ie...not too long or strenuous). After looking online at the Western Discoveries website, we called and talked to Russ who was very helpful in getting it all organized ...we only had an 11 day window to work with. The service was superb, from pick up to the end of 8 days of walking. We did Pendeen to Lizard Point and it was fantastic scenery all the way. The only thing we didn't realize is that all the distances were "as the crow flies" or as they say, a Cornish mile! But we did it and are already thinking about another leg. We would definitely use Western Discoveries again. Thank you to Russ and Matt...

They know their stuff. Very knowledgeable about the Cornish countryside, history, folklore, places to stay, eat etc. If they don't know something, they'll have the answer quickly. You are safe in their hands.

Russ and Matt provided an excellent experience .All logistics went smoothly and choices of accomdations were great.

Now back from the exciting hiking tour on the coast path in Cornwall and daily thinking of it! It is a stunning scenery on the path, seven days in one go from St Ives to Coverack.

The trail sometimes is a special challenge, very marshy and slippy, you need good shoes and gaiters. The weather was bright and in particular Western Discovery did all things excellent. The accomodations were lovely, the hosts were very friendly and the lenght of the daily tours were demanding but great.

I really can recommend the organisation of Matt and Russ. Everything was perfect and I hope to come back on the SWCP.

It was very difficult for us to leave the beautiful Cornwall and the many lovely people we got to know. It was a wonderful holiday thanks to the Western Discoveries team, which has organized everything from A to Z and has booked great accommodations. Thank you, it was not our last visit to Cornwall

I stayed in beautiful B & Bs with comfortable rooms and delicious breakfasts. The trail was easy to follow and although I was walking on my own I never felt unsafe. Highly recommended.

Can not rave enough about the vacation we had! Western Discoveries organized a wonderful 3 day trip from St. Ives to Pendeen. Every nuance was anticipated and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. From the time communications first began, we were pleased with the information and guidance. Matt and Russ are great at helping plan and prepare for these trips. We had timely and clear communications about the trip and travel plans. The maps and information provided about the hikes, landmarks, towns and B&Bs was spot on. Our B&B hosts/accommodations were wonderful. The restaurants were fun and fantastic. We highly recommend this service! Can't wait to use this company again.
