A celebration of all things Whitby. This year Whitby Ahoy is coming to the brewery!
Whitby Ahoy brings the town alive with the sound of shanties and sea songs. Join us for three days of everything good about Whitby and the sea.

Come and sample all that the sea has to offer! We’ll have sea shanties, sea food and maritime music all weekend at the brewery.
Part of the town-wide Fish and Ships festival in association with www.whitbyseafest.co.uk and www.discoveryorkshirecoast.com

Join us for an afternoon of seasonal songs, fine ales, mulled wine and mince pies. Richard Grainger will be bringing his band of merry folkies to brighten the brewery with Christmas cheer.
Part of the Great North Christmas Festival.

What can I say about this place? That's an easy one, quality beer at a good price, very very friendly staff. The atmosphere is so relaxed just as a bar should be, gentle background music and the sound of the vats all add to it. People mingle & chat, new friendships are formed. A simple format that works in every way. A must visit if you're in Whitby ���

What a gem found it by accident as not very well sign posted. Glad we did the smugglers gold is amazing in fact they all are can’t wait for my next visit

This is a unique place to have some unique beers. Set across the road from the famous Whitby Abbey served by lovely friendly folk its a must if you are visiting Whitby, you will not be disappointed.

I was certainly in the mood for a great pint by the time I walked up the 199 steps to the Abbey! The Whitby Brewery has never let me down before and yesterday was no different! I’d recommend a pint of Jet Black to anyone who likes a rich dark beer. It’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Thanks a lot and I hope to come back again soon!

Dropped in the bar by chance and enjoyed a very clean, crisp, thirst-quenching pint of blonde. Just struggled opening and shutting the 'sliding' glass front door. A real gem though.

Cracking micro brewery up next to the Abbey Great selection of beers and very tasty, only downside is it closes at 5 though I wouldn't want to be walking the 199 steps after a session here. Brilliant

You'll find their beers in a few of the local pubs too...
