Luckily for us we don't see many patients who need CPR but when we do see a pet who's heart has stopped or they aren't breathing there's no time to waste. That's why we practice on dummy patients to make sure we are ready to spring into action no matter what time of day.
Here's a sneak peak of some of our amazing team practicing tonight, it was 10pm when this video was taken & most of them had worked a full & busy day shift before staying back to complete the 3 hour refresher training, we are so proud to have people like this work for us #dedication #lifesaving #cpr

We brought our beautiful 12yr old German Shepherd in on the 31st December to the out of hours surgery unaware of just how seriously ill he would be.

All I can say is that every single vet and veterinary nurse who attended to him over the course of two very traumatic weeks were outstanding in their duty of care towards Zak. They went above and beyond, always taking the time to explain, discuss our fears and call back when call backs were promised.

From the extraordinary veterinary staff to the wonderful receptionists who showed so much compassion, understanding and kindness, I can honestly never thank them all enough for all they did.

We got our miracle and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. If I could give them an award for their outstanding dedication and commitment to the animals in their care I would.....

A special mention for Mr Paul Wilson who truly went above and beyond for our gorgeous boy.

Visited yesterday thinking the worse. The vet listened to us and recommended a course of treatment for our 14yr old cavalier. Fingers crossed today she is so much brighter and after they saved her from cancer 3 yrs ago we have total faith in.

Took my Sphynx boy to see Marcin at the Bishop branch today. I found him very a knowledgeable and helpful vet, highly recommended

User

The very best veterinary practice, owner, staff and service!

I have had all of my pets with Paul for over 20 years.

He is an amazing man with vast knowledge, patience and kindness. This shows in the efficient and highly professional practices he runs.

My current dog has several serious health problems and I can honestly say there is no man or practice I would trust as much as Paul Wilson and his staff to make sure she has only the best of care.

Fantastic!

User

Thank you so much for looking after Ben on Friday and making his passing calm and peaceful Mrs Gale and family

User

Thank you all for looking after our cat, Oscar. At nearly 20yrs old we expected the worst but he has a new lease of life now. The vet (Pav?) took time to explain things to us and even printed his blood results off for us. I know it’s not cheap but I think worth every penny.

User

Spoke to two different veterinary surgeries today. The first, the woman did not seem to know what she was talking about...had to keep calling back while she was finding out information. Told me I would have to wait over a month to get my cat seen and wasn't that helpful at all. I then rang Wilson's and was given all the information I needed by a polite and informative lady. I was given an appointment for Monday and my mind was put at ease. Would highly recommend.

So grateful for saving my bunny Lucy last night, she was in a really bad way and I can't thank the vet's enough. She is recovering today with the Meds and advice supplied.

User

My British Bulldog was operated on at the beginning of the week by Martin who has been fab all the way through thank you for taking such good care of him

User

Id like to take this opportunity to thank Bruce and his team for looking after my little fur baby today, i cant thank you enough

User

I rescue and rehabilitate wild hedgehogs. I've learned recently through this, that not all vets know much about them or care enough to bother to learn.

Wilsons cane recommended to me by a friend and fellow hog carer.

I took a baby covered in too many tics for me to remove myself.

There was a genuine interest in him, loads of info available to read re our wildlife ( including hogs) and they got all the pesky tics off and some good advice given to help little Rocky get back in the wild at the first opportunity.

Well impressed.

User

I brought my cat in last week, and after blood tests and an ultrasound the vet discovered she has 2 tumours, and needed to be put to sleep. As devastating as it was, the vet, the nurses and the rest of the staff were so compassionate. The vet Jasmine was especially kind and treat my girl with such care and respect, it really meant a lot. So thank you for making her last moments special, and as least traumatising as possible for me and my family. You can tell every single person that works there really care for each pet that comes in. And to complete the service, I've just received a sympathy card in the post. So I'm leaving this review and a thank you!

User

Great, Great bunch of friendly, caring, and compassionate people. Always love visiting, would highly recommend!

User

Can't thank them enough for how lovely they were when we had to get one of our cats Sebby put to sleep yesterday. Received a lovely card off them this morning. Thank you

User

Brilliant. Always feel

my lovely dog is in the safest of hands. Lovely manner, informative and knowledgeable. Feel listened to and supported.

User

Never been to the bishop branch! However the Newton aycliffe branch don't care what so ever! My dog won't take the milbemax worming tablet! So they gave me a pouch of powder for 10Kg my dog weights 13.5kg yet they claim it's the right dose! Bishop suggested a tablet and the aycliffe branch continue to refuse! Won't be going back there again and I'll be cancelling my VIP membership and taking my dog to a vets who actually care

User

been a customer for 12 years, Wilson's offered to help with an insurance claim for my dog.

however rather than helping, they have given some unsubstantiated info to the insurer that a previous unconnected illness from 7 months earlier, without reason / needing to attend is linked to a current one.

as a result the insurer won't pay.

Wilson's of course aren't bothered as I've paid them.

I'll be leaving now, pls be very wary / avoid

User

Kept waiting way passed the appointment time with a bleeding dog to be seen for less than 30 seconds to be told she is fine and £50 lighter at least dick turpin wore a mask !!
