Well what can we say. Very lucky to win the Christmas competition and extended our stay to two nights.

Sherrie went over and above to take care of us during our stay. The room was fantastic, decorated to a high standard with lovely period furniture and hand crafted ornaments and finishing touches. Sherrie even gave us a tour of the other rooms and showed how she had lovingly decorated and restored the house. It was good to hear the origins of the house and where some of the antiques had been sourced.

Comfy bed, large, warm rooms, fluffy towels and plenty of choice during breakfast. Vegetarian options were readily available.

We would recommend Woodside Villa to anyone visiting Whitby, and look forward to returning in the future.

We recently stayed at Woodside Villa Guesthouse, Whitby. The accommodation was fantastic. The whole house has a wonderful themed antique look about it, with our room being decorated to a very high standard. The deco room, which was our room, was decorated with old and new and the combination worked very well. We are still so surprised at what a wonderful large room we had with this bed and breakfast. Our room did not come with an ensuite, but instead we still had our own private bathroom opposite our room which worked well.



We had a full english breakfast which was excellent and the owner and young woman were very friendly and offered excellent service. The guest house is only a 5 minute drive to whitby centre and a 10 minute walk. We will definitely be coming back to this guest house when we visit whitby again. Thanks again Charlotte and Dan

We have had a brilliant 4 days say here at Woodside Villa, weather has been great too. lovely room and everything you need very clean and tidy. Sherie is a lovely host I for got my gluten free breakfast and milk so Sherie went and bought some for me. Thank you and we shall be back again. Great cooked breakfasts too. Thank you

This guest house is beautiful. We stayed in the Rococo room and it was beautifully decorated and had the most comfortable bed ever ! The room was spacious and very clean. Sherrie also provided gluten free and lactose free breakfast options which was brilliant. It really took the headache out of the usual dilemma of what I can / can't eat and was massively appreciated ! Will definitely be recommending to others.

Stayed with my partner for two nights, Sherries decor designs are remarkable and I loved our room. Nothing is too much trouble and you are made to feel very welcome. Sherrie also makes her own soaps which are amazing, we bought a few for pressies. Definitely recommend

Stayed here for our anniversary in September and the room was immaculate. Beautifully decorated and very spacious. Great location just a short walk to centre. Breakfast was great and perfect host's . Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning xx

My girlfriend and I stayed here again just for the one night. The hole building has a dated and antique theme. The rooms are very large, the bathroom is the size of most bed and breakfasts. The walk in shower is spot on. The bed sofa wardrobes are just amazing. If you want luxury with pure chilled out comfort this is the place to stay. Oh and always a warm and friendly welcome. We will be back.

Lovely bb warm welcome lovely rooms great breakfast and also sherrie did us a lovely three course meal on New Year's Day which was really nice of her .so we would really recommend this bb

Just stayed here for the second time couple days ago at this fab B&B with my other half as a surprise for me and we both loved it so much, stayed in bridal suite which was just totally gorgeous and made me feel so spoilt :-) owner is really lovely too and makes sure you are happy with everything, if had to describe staying here in one word - fabulous :-)

Just stayed at woodside yesterday, in blizzards of snow and icy wind! A few mins walk down into whitby town. Really lovely guesthouse, love the decor, very comfortable and homely. Was nice and warm in the room, slept really well, very comfortable bed. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Will definately choose to stay here again.

Just stayed at this gorgeous Guest House for two nights that I won, absolutely fantastic hostess Sherrie she really did make me and my husband feel very welcomed and such a friendly person. Me and my husband met some lovely guests at breakfast who also enjoyed their stay here. All in all just an amazing weekend and not forgetting the wonderful sights and stunning views of Whitby.

Just spent the weekend at woodside villa and would definately recommend this place. Sherrie is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. The room we stayed in was really spacious and really beautifully decorated. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. It was only a 5-10 minute walk into the town which had plenty of places to eat,drink etc. I will definately be booking to stay here again. I could not find a fault with this place. Sherrie keep up the good work! See you again soon.

Just had a lovely weekend at Woodside, our room, the Rococo was lovely, Sherrie was very attentive, only downside for us was breakfast, we both ended up sitting at the opposite end of a table for 6, would have been better if the table was set as a 3 on each side. Having said that I will be re booking for our annual anniversary trip away.

I would like to thank you Sherrie for the two night break my daughter won us on Facebook , you have a beautiful house, you are a amazing host, our room was so comfortable and spacious very impressed with it, loved being your guest and we will be returning to you in the future, and your jam is absolutely beautiful, thank you for this amazing experience xxx

Had a fantastic stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. Very nicely surprised by the size of the Edwardian Suite that my partner and I stopped in.

The whole place was decorated and furnished to a high standard, and our host Sherrie was a very attentive and helpful host.
