Yates made me feel so special for my birthday night out even though we had a load of drama, they really made an effort with me and made a really nice set up and table and a free bottle of bubbly and some balloons which was lovely, the staff were lovely and I had an absolute ball. You made me feel happy about working for stonegate pubs! Thank youuuu for your hospitality<3

We were in early yesterday around 10:30 and the place was quite active, we found a table and got served at the bar quickly. We both got a breakfast deal with drinks for less than £5 total and it came within 10 minutes. It was tasty, the staff were helpful and quick and the atmosphere was nice. When back in Newcastle, I would likely go again.

We had a lovely lunch yesterday, I had chicken and bacon next time I will try the cheee burger as I thought I was getting a bun yesterday with the chicken but I didn’t never mind

Cannot thank Stella and the staff from last night. After going over on my ankle and not knowing it was broke at the time the team could not habe helped me enough. I'm currently awaiting surgery �� but will be bk in Yates as soon as the cast comes off!!!!!

Popped in for an 'after work drink' with 2 friends... a group of 4 people were well under way with their drinking and shots, so much so that by 5.30, one of the women vomited all over the table and floor! Even from the other side of the room I could smell it! The young bar girl that cleaned the mess up did so with a smile, even bopping along to the music, she was tremendous, well worth every penny she's paid (probably worth a lot more)... Made me smile just watching her!

Great place we went in before catching our national holiday coach for a drink cocktails lovely & strong one led to another we was a bit tipsy we will be in again next time we visit Newcastle

The food was cheap and cheerfull however shot girls wandering around with there tits hanging out whilst i have my small children with me isnt very appropriate ,

I was asked to take my hat off (beanie) and was told it was company policy yet a bloke sat 2ft away from me wasn't asked to take his off (beanie) double standards.

Have been in bar for over an hour buying the same two drinks (pint of cider with black). On to our 3rd one and they were both flat as a pancake and brought them back to the bar for a replacement. When I explained the situation to the woman( who I assumed was the manager), She looked at me as if i had walked over her new carpet with my muddy shoes on. No sorry, no nothing, no let me just change that for you. Very poor customer service.

Food good but too noisy for the older clientele very good value for money

Wont be returnin...We have been quite a few time 4 lunch and the same barstaff have been workin and were lovely..However 2day different barstaff...I stood at bar over 5mins 2 ask 4 cloth 4 table (our fault) 1 couple who had been standing longer gave up and left..We had already ordered. Ask barmaid Could i just have cloth 4 table 2 be told "Can u wait am on phone".Another family were refunded becoz they waited that long 4 food 2 arrive...Then after Lunch went 2 bar 2 ask 4 desserts 2 be serve 2 be told Again "Can u wait I'm on phone. No she should be tellin person on phone 'I have PAYING CUSTOMERS WHO NEED SERVED...Wont be returnin or recommending Yates 2 anyone again like i have in the pazt��
