When booking our table online I mentioned it was for a 19th birthday. On arrival I got asked "are any of you driving" to which I answered no I found the question odd but once seated the lovely waitress came with a glass of fizz for us both for the birthday and said "thats why i askrd if anybody was driving"which was a lovely surprise �� the food was amazing...if anything the pizzas were huge and looked like I hadn't really eaten much but we were so full. The cocktails were fantastic �would highly recommend and will defiantly be back �

We visited yesterday lunch time with our family that were here on a visit from Australia. The service from the phone call to the end of the day was fantastic and the waiters were very friendly and so helpful. There were eight of us and everyone's meal was excellent and deserts were to die for � I would very highly recommend to anyone who asked where to eat in Newcastle. Thank you so much �

Took my son wife and granddaughter.....by the way she is so fussy food wise .....we ordered our meal and our granddaughter said this is not hienz tomato sauce.....so Alex our waiter went next door and brought some real hienz sauce....thats what I call service ......clearly my granddaughter is now a fan of Alex.....by the way the meal was perfect

My favourite restaurant by a mile. Food is always gorgeous but what really makes it so special for me and my family is the service you receive from the marvellous staff. We were in yesterday lunchtime, which included my 2 year old granddaughter, (Zizzi staff are great with kids) Tiago (our server) asked if she’d like to go up to the kitchen and see the pizzas getting made. She received a chef’s hat which she delighted in. Thank you Zizzi we will be back very soon.

Lovely relaxing environment, quick and very friendly service

We will definitely return in the future and would recommend the chicken salad dish for lunch

I went here yesterday with a friend and my baby. The food was amazing and so was the service. Our waiter was lovely and couldn’t be more helpful with regards to giving us a spacious place to sit with my pram. He told me where the changing facilities were if we needed to use it. This sounds like a tiny detail to point out but in reality a nice, calm place to go with a pram that has changing facilities is quite hard to find. We had a lovely time. Thank you.

Had an amazing night last night. We had booked a table for 4 a few weeks ago for my sons birthday. However when my hubby checked he’d booked it for March not February. The staff were fantastic and managed to find us a table even though it was so busy. I’d have had a very disappointed birthday boy! Atmosphere was nice, food was gorgeous. Staff were lovely. Will be returning.

Been to zizzis many times as they have brilliant food for vegans and veggies. We went tonight (new years day) and they were closed due to the restaurant not being busy. I complained as it said on their website they were open until half past ten. I had tried to ring to book a table earlier with no answer, and we had paid for a taxi out especially. After I explained the manager offered us a take away option and subsequently gave us it for free. The food was delicious as always and they were very ascommodatiing given the circumstances after what must have been a busy Christmas time. We really appreciate it as we were a bit lost as to what we would have eaten! They went above and beyond what many restaurants probably would have done and we will be back again soon.

Been many times to Zizzi’s. Always enjoy going here and choosing something different on the menu each time. Seated at table straight away and was brought a glass of bubbly. Food was served quickly by a polite and friendly waiter. It was delicious. Restraunt was busy and atmosphere happy. Will definately be back again.

All the better for having vegan options. (If you’re vegan make sure you ask for the vegan menu)

Tasty food & wine ... something for everyone ... chicken prosciutto was delicious, washed down with the house prosecco ...

Lovely pre theatre meal on a Saturday afternoon with my friend and daughter. Both pasta and pizza were delicious as my daughter and I had half and half. Would recommend

Chose a lasagna, which was lovely and didn't feel overloaded with pasta. Service was good. My only grumble, and that of my friends, was the cups tea and coffee was served in. While thermal glass, handle less cups might look trendy, they are awful to drink from. I asked for a regular cup and was found one....

Very nice staff,but found the food left a lot to be desired.Don’t think we’ll go back.☹️

Myself and my fiancé have just visited your restaurant this evening and I really want to leave feedback on your staff.

There were two ladies working this evening, whose names unfortunately I did not get as they did not have badges on. One lady was brunette and pregnant, and the other, again brunette, who I assume was the manager as she was wearing her own clothes- a white polka dot top. Both of these ladies were extremely friendly, helpful, kind and extremely approachable.

I didn’t particularly enjoy my meal, but the pregnant lady couldn’t do enough for me. I was happy to leave my meal and not have a replacement, but she still ensured repeatedly that I was ok.

It always makes a dining experience more enjoyable when the staff are great!

Nice place. Very dissappointed with the amount of "meat" in my dish. Supposed to be meatballs...came with about six small bite size bits of cut up meatball. Sorry but wont be going back. And as usual way over the odds for the 330ml bottle of lager....this is normal for italian restaurants and I dont usually mind paying for it if the meal makes up for it...but it didnt

I visited here last night & after waiting a good 5 minutes to be seated we didn't get an apology for having to wait and then the waitress slammed our menus down on our table then walked off without taking any drinks orders. Our waiter tried to be sarcastic with us but just came off as rude. I've visited here a few years back and our waitress then was very rude to a large group I was a part of, thought they'd have improved in 4 years but nope still bad customer service!
