Have you ever considered getting involved in Scouting in Sale? Not only is it a huge amount of fun, you’ll make new friends and make a difference to the lives of the young people you work with. And you can have a go at all of the activities they do as well!
On a more serious note, in Sale we are seeing an increase in requests for places, especially in Beavers, most of which sadly end up on waiting lists, as we have a limited number of adult volunteers. Take a look at our vacancies page below, we need these people and more if we are to expand the number of places we can offer to young people. You may have already seen a post from one of our groups asking for volunteers.

Messing about showing a scout how to hang a hammock ready for hammock camp. Need to work on my presenting skills lol

So after a busy day we have a chariot for the gmw chariot scout race 2018. Method is two pulling at front, jockey kneeling and one or two pushing at the back. Just need one more 26inch wheel.

After a busy 6 weeks we are ready for you.

Bee Challenge his BEEn sent out through OSM. This is a family event with the scout being the main map reader. How many bees can you find in the allotted time frame. Check out OSM events for more details.

Just picked up the next batch of hoodies. Cub leaders already collected. If you see yours collect in September. If you would like to purchase one fill out the form and hand it in September.

My two children attend 14th sale beavers and cubs. they come back tired but loving every minute. My beaver is going on his first camp and the cub is working towards his next badge. Can not fault the team. Well done guys

My son loves coming to Cubs (and Beavers before that). It's usually very hard to persuade him to try anything, but this is one thing he really does enjoy! My younger son has just started Beavers and is very excited. The leaders are all fantastic and their commitment is second to none. I would recommend 14th Sale to everyone!

I joined 14th Sale in 1954 as a scout at the age of 11 and I'm still here!!! A great Scout Group going from strength to strength.

I have 2 boys at 14th sale - one in scouts one in beavers. They learn new skills, have nights away and play great games in a friendly, fun and welcoming atmosphere.

Evie is one of the only girls in cubs at 14th sale having moved up from beavers but never complains that she feels that as all activities are inclusive and they all learn and play together.

Leaders are excellent and Evie loves going.
