The last of the Sunbird Records northern run will find the gang in Blackpool, hometown of 'Eye The Bomb' (Sunbird Records). Swap a big dipper for a Phat drop with Eli Trobe (Dropjaw) after the show and take a sick day to boot!!

The second date of the Sunbird Records August weekender will see the roster arrive at the Eagle Inn, Manchester. With the short northern run already in full swing, this will be a full night of well oiled Sunbirds clangers!

Razorrawks
Proudly wearing his influences on his sleeve Razorrawks is a Northern rapper hailing from Preston, Lancashire. After spending the last few years building his own studio and honing his skills, 2016 is set to see the release of his debut album ‘Rip Eat Prescription’.
Unmistakably identified through his original delivery, regional dialect and Northern pride, he combines inspired lyrics over well produced beats drawing influence from all that surrounds him. Due to his ...eclectic approach comparisons have been made with the likes of John Cooper Clarke, Jamie T, Guy Garvey, The Prodigy and more.

Razorrawks is set to continue to unleash his unique take on UK Hip Hop through his uncompromising production techniques and creative writing style.

Marx
Marx first fell in love with hip-hop as a child, and made his first rap demos in his bedroom aged nine. Since pursuing music full time in 2013, he has gained a reputation as one of the hardest working artists in the country, releasing multiple EPs and singles and performing over 150 gigs at the age of 21. In his time as a hip-hop artist, Marx has rapped alongside legends such as Big Daddy Kane and KRS-One in cyphers and toured throughout the UK with the likes of Ghostface Killah, Souls of Mischief, Mega Ran, Sumo Cyco, Sammus, Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde, Onyx, Beans on Toast, Klashnekoff and many more.

Effigy For Sleep
Effigy for Sleep take influence from a range of genres including rock, djent, ambient, math and progressive. Effigy share a love for bands like Karnivool, Sikth, Gojira, snarky puppy and Toska to name a few and aim to see as many bands live as possible. On first listening to Effigy you can't predict where the music will go, this is a characteristic of our progressive style. Effigy's USP is the juxtaposition of soulful vocals amidst a complex and aggressive gu...itar, bass and drums. Effigy aims for a distinctive and wild sound that won't soon be forgotten.
Three Headed Monkey
Three Headed Monkey are four blokes from Lancashire and comprise of former members of Goonies Never Say Die, Go Around Captain and Chaotix. Danny (drums) and Alan (guitar/vox) had been playing together for years before joining forces with Ric (bass) and Stuart (guitar) to form Three Headed Monkey.
THM's first EP "I can't win on my own', released on 18th August 2017 is available on CD and online, available on Spotify, Bandcamp and iTunes
Three Headed Monkey have had the honour of gigging with some excellent bands such as TTNG, Freeze The Atlantic, Vasa, Kusanagi, Donnie Willow, We Came From Wolves, Mums, Toy Mountains, Death and the Penguin and many others.
