The Air Training Corps (ATC) is a British volunteer-military youth organisation.
2468 Squadron Air Cadets Description
The Aims of the Air Training Corps as set out in the Royal Warrant and approved by HM the Queen are:
To promote and encourage among young men and women a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.
To provide training which will be useful both in the Services and in civilian life.
To foster the spirit of adventure and to develop the qualities of leadership.

What a fantastic way to celebrate ATC Sunday! 3 of our cadets spent the day 632 Volunteer Gliding Squadron at RAF Ternhill, learning the basics of gliding in the classroom, practicing handling in the part task trainer, and finally putting the theory into practice by completing several flights in the glider!
