Here are our visitors from Cubs on Wednesday out doing what they do #LASAR #BePrepared

User

Tonight the Cubs had a vist from Lancaster Area Search and Rescue (LASAR) as part of our work towards our Emergency Aid badge. We learned about who LASAR are, what they do, how they stay safe when doing it and how alot of what they do is similar to what we have been learning about emergency aid. We even got to meet a very special guest Manikin Skywalker one of the teams Search and Rescue manikins.

‘‘Twas the night of the Santa Sleepover and leaders had finished their chores, when one hundred Cubs came charging through the doors.....😃
So proud of our little Green Machines ☺️ we had so much fun! We broke out our best dance moves at the disco, sang carols round a campfire , watched Christmas movies, ate lots of a yummy food, made reindeer hats, snowflakes, lolly stick Christmas trees, paracord snowmen, wooden reindeer faces, ate more yummy food, slept (a little) and even had a visit from The man himself!🎅🏻 Well done #Team35th you are awesome!! (Sorry there’s not lots of photos but we were very busy elves!) 😁

#TBT this time 4 years ago we had the privilege of opening our doors and welcoming some of our local community during #StormDesmond supplying brews & hot water, the latest from the Bay radio on our oldschool wind up radio and just something for people to do. #Proud

T-shirts being designed. The creative nature of these young people is always so surprising. Give them a little direction and they take off! Really enjoyed this crafty, festive and fun night.
