Salford City Radio is running a series of innovative radio workshops to build bridges between older and younger people in Salford.
The three-hour workshops will provide a platform for people of all ages to learn skills in commnuity radio broadcasting.
Now they need you to sign up for the intergenerational project.
... Participants will produce a feature of their choice, whether it's a What's On Guide, a debate about an issue that is currently affecting them or even an advert of healthy eating.
"The choice is theirs," says Project Manager Chris Brophy.
"This is a great opportunity for the people of Salford to come and experience what it is like to work for a community radio station."
150 volunteers already broadcast from the Salford City Radio studios behind Swinton Civic Centre.
The workshops, funded by Awards for All from the National Lottery, aim to assist with the development of local groups as well as enhancing community engagement.
Those taking part will come away with a certificate and a CD recording of their work and will be able to hear the feature in the following day's breakfast show.
All workshops are free and places are very limited. Those interested should email chris.brophy@salfordcityradio.org or call 0161 793 2939.

Message to all promoters - if you want us to give a shout out for your gig then you really need to let us know the Friday before the week it is happening in....many of our shows are recorded at the weekend before the week they are aired so in order to mention your event we need to be told about it the week before. Also please send us an e-mail rather than Twitter/Facebook as we get a lot of information/posts/tweets on both of those social media outlets and it's easy to miss stuff. Ta!

Pleased to be able to tell you that our internet stream is back and working!
